      "Sorry, not sorry. I can't simply stand idly by and let someone get beat up." Ichigo knew what it was like tog et singled out for looking different, given that he had orange hair. A native Japanese man with orange hair, no less. He got all sorts of crap about it growing up. Now that he was an adult he wasn't going to just stand around letting adults bully teenagers.

      Most people recognized him and avoided him due to his reputation. It wasn't like Ichigo was shy when it came to getting into fights when he was younger. He put a lot of thugs and delinquents into the hospital back then. Even going as far as to call ambulances for them and everything. "Besides, this is my city and those guys really should know better than to start things around here." Especially since this was his street.

      "I'd rather scare them off than let them rough you up any day." Ichigo wasn't prone to letting people get beat up like that. Sure, he used to start a lot of fights back when he was a teen, now he finished them, usually by showing up. Though, he did get into a few bar fights every now and then. Usually out of boredom and only in his squishy human body.

      "You don't look like you're from around here. Come from out of town?" Nobody came to Karakura without a reason to. Most usually came because they heard tales of Ichigo himself.

      "I'm not really much for partyin' but I wouldn't mind hittin' a club or two. Sadly, I don't have any of my clubbin' clothes here." Ichigo would smirk at Shinji, the vizard wasn't his size either, so it wasn't like he could loan him clothing. Now, it was true that he could simply go home and change, but something told him that if they were going to be seen together... Shinji would want a say in his wardrobe.

      Ichigo grinned widely at being asked to let the 'lil menace out' well, who was he to say no to that? Nobody, that's who. He wasn't going to say no. "Alright then, what's the plan? Or maybe who're the targets?" Clearly, the blond had to have someone in mind, right? Otherwise why would he say what he did? So the younger simply waited and was willing to listen.

      Ichigo was used to abusing his body, pushing it to its limits, and then beyond. It was almost as simple as breathing to him, really. He was a weapon. Or he was turned into one at the very least. His arm hung at his side, useless really, but the pain? Oh that was almost immeasurable and he'd died more than once before. As his arm was lifted, twisted, and then pushed or pulled, the snap was loud. Almost deafening. Almost.

      The first thine Ichigo did was rotate it with a small hiss, the thing still ached. He'd turn thankful brown eyes to Ayame, as he'd learned her name at some point, not that he remembered when anymore. Maybe when they shared those brownies? "Thank you, most people would have just slammed it or yanked it and shook it hard." He chuckled then, shaking his head as he thought about how rough his friends tended to be when it came to his various injuries. He could have gone to Isshin, sure, but the old goat was nuts and he preferred his body to be in one piece in the end.

      Ichigo wasn't sure he totally bought that, but since he didn't know the younger guy, who was he to say for sure. Standing there, clad in his soul reaper/shinigami robes, Zangetsu on his back, wrapped in white cloth, most people weren't capable of seeing him. He'd noticed this guy's eyes following his non-shunpo/sonido movements as he fought a hollow that had tried to eat a nearby spirit.

      "You need anythin' to eat or drink?" Ichigo often offered people food and drinks even if he didn't know them. He could tell this guy wasn't of age to partake of drinking alcohol, but he could get him a bottle of water or something. "So, have you seen other crazy things like that or was tonight special?" While he'd heard of cursed spirits in another part of Japan, here, they didn't have any of those.

      The closest they had were hollows, but they were merely human souls that succumbed to negative emotions after they died. Or were consumed by a hollow before being sent to the soul society. Most people would have freaked out seeing the massive spray of blood as Ichigo slashed through the hollow's mask but this guy? He hadn't even seen to bat an eye. It was rather fascinating to him. "I know you're not a local around here, I know everyone in town. You a traveler, or lookin' for somethin' specific?" Since he was a local himself, if the guy was seeking something in particular out, he might be able to help him.

Questioning Sentences, Vol. 44

      "Oh, woe is me, Grimmjow fuckin' Jaegerjaques is calling me a drama queen." Ichigo pretended to grip his chest, as if he was wounded before fixing his stature and rolling his eyes. He could show Grimmjow dramatic if he really wanted to but for right now he was just going to wait. Okay, so maybe he wasn't just going to wait. He'd glower at Grimmjow before sticking his tongue out at him.

      Childish, he knew, but who said he had to be mature when he was being called a drama queen? Ichigo certainly didn't. "Did you come all this way just to call me a drama queen, or are you here for an actual reason?" He wasn't in his soul form but he could easily switch if Grimmjow played his cards right, or wrong. It really might depend on what his angle was.

      Ichigo didn't even consider drama queen an insult he was just acting the way he was because it was Grimmjow. More or less. As curious as he was, he had no intention of asking Grimmjow why he thought of him as a drama queen right now. They'd not seen one another in how many years? He'd almost lost count. What with his duties, job, and all that schooling he went through it wasn't that shocking.

      "I can pull off drama queen though. I'm hot enough." Ichigo may or may not have meant that, but for the most part he simply wanted to see how Grimmjow would react to him calling himself hot. He'd tap his chin, lips curling into a smirk as he eyed Grimmjow in a different way than he ever had in the past. "See, if I didn't think you'd actually go through with it, I'd tell you to fuckin' bite me, Grimmjow."

      "Rukia," Ichigo spoke her name, his voice deeper and slightly more resonant than it had been previously. She was on his lap and had been teasing him, which she would feel the effects of. He knew she was aware of it, it would be kind of hard for her not to be since his pants were so tight they could hardly hide a thing. "You're bein' a fuckin' tease you know that, though, don't you?"

      He didn't often used such foul language around her but she'd been teasing him pretty relentlessly so she should give Ichigo a pass this once. Not that his mouth wasn't filthy in the act itself. She was no better most of the time. He would squeeze her hips and let out some sort of noise he refused to explain the more she teased him. "You keep teasin' me and we're gonna have a problem."

      Ichigo knew it wouldn't actually be a problem per se. "You just need to tell me what you want and maybe you'll get it. Keep teasin' me and I might have to take you over my knees and make your ass red." He couldn't recall if he'd ever been driven to spank her before or not, but there was a chance it'd happened at some point in the past. The death god wasn't really into being teased too much. Rukia knew that but she also knew exactly which of his buttons to push to get what she wanted from him.

      He'd remove one of his hands from her hips and instead move to rest it on the nape of her neck, fingers toying with some of her hair, she'd feel the heat of his hand against the skin itself. "All you gotta do is be honest with yourself." While speaking, Ichigo leaned a bit closer, his eyes looking into hers before a slight smirk appeared on his face. Rather than kissing her, as he'd been acting like he wanted to do, his lips would meet the side of her ear. "We both know I can outlast you in this little game, Rukia. Are you sure you can handle it?"

      Ichigo had her on her back, the sheets and duvet rumpled and falling off the side of the bed, all but one pillow was on the floor. The one that remained was beneath Rukia's hips. It was there to keep her comfortable and to aid the two of them to get a bit closer during the deeper intimacy they were sharing.

      They'd both been giving one another hints, sometimes even blatant ones, but neither of them noticed. Ichigo was fairly dense when it came to true feelings. Given that he'd been toyed with in the past. He trusted Rukia implicitly, she was easily one of his best friends, and she knew that. Now though, their dynamic was changing.

      She was so much smaller than he was, so he'd been careful. He hadn't really been with any women despite how promiscuous he'd been. Ichigo's flings had been men. It was rather possible that Rukia wasn't aware of that part of his past. Or if she was, she possibly didn't care. She was so tight but he attributed that to her petite size. As he moved, he felt the warmth of her insides through the condom he had on.

      Sweat made his hair stick to the back of his neck and behind his ears, but he didn't stop, and wouldn't unless she asked him to. "Fuck." The word came out through gritted teeth, the younger death god wasn't winded but Ichigo was being careful. When she leaned up and wrapped her arms around his neck, he thought nothing of it. It was only when he felt her biting him that his hips stuttered and he let out a deep moan.

      Whenever she pulled away from biting him he'd return the favor, though for him, piercing skin was easy, because he had fangs thanks to his hollow. Her blood was sweet as it hit his tongue. A moan would be pulled from him before he pulled away. Ichigo would lean up just a bit from where he'd bitten her. "You taste sweet, Rukia." His voice was slightly deeper but it had to do with what they were doing, and nothing to do with the bites.

      Ichigo would resume moving as he kept their bodies close to one another. His chest was just a few inches from her own, the heat between them could easily be felt. He'd angle his hips a bit trying to find any soft spots within her. Those that would make her feel really good. He'd eventually lean down, brown eyes meeting purple, one of his hands would move from beside her head to slide down her side before gently gripping her thigh. "You can cling to me if you want to." The words were whispered against her lips before he closed the last distance between them.

      Kissing Rukia was something else. He'd never kissed anyone in the past aside from his on ex-partner. The reason Ichigo was kissing Rukia was because he didn't want this to be a one and done situation. It'd ruin their friendship. Not that having sex wasn't going to change their dynamic.

      Ichigo let out a small snort as he shook his head before he was focusing on the other vizard. "I never said, nor assumed, that you were." Kensei was interesting, he was a hard ass, and could be a total asshole but he got results. He didn't know the nature of Kensei and Mashiro's friendship, or if it was a really tough love situation or not. Shuhei didn't seem bothered by his captain's attitude.

      "Oh, I know better than to stick my nose where it's not welcome or wanted. Besides, I was merely making an observation." That was something that Ichigo was good at. Making observations. Plus, it wasn't like Kensei was the biggest dick that he knew. Or was even friends with. Though, it'd be a cold day in hell before Grimmjow ever admitted that they were friends with one another. The arrancar was a rather fighty bastard which was one of the main reasons he enjoyed spending time around him.

      "Why the hell would you even need to ask my permission for anything anyway? That's stupid." Ichigo let a breath out before shaking his head again. Kensei was a captain and he was nothing more than a discarded or even unwanted substitute. He was hardly sent any sort of jobs anymore. While thankful for the break it got pretty boring.
