Fishing Salomon lake was the best I’ve ever experienced. We caught (and released) many bass, pike, perch and bluegill. It was exciting and so much fun. Still waiting to catch the fabled brown trout this lake once offered. I think based on the amount of pike (an introduced species) we caught that the trout food supply is likely gone.
