Clark Island Inspired. Watercolor.
Happy New Year everyone. Just a quick update. Made it through the holidays with much support from all my buds. We live in such a great community!
I painted this watercolor, Clark Island Inspired, from a New Years Eve morning hike when joining a Meetup group on Clark Island, Spruce Head, Maine.
That particular morning was very warm (50°) and I was feeling inspired for some well needed exercise, besides I have lived here 45 years and never really took in the entire island.
After meeting up with the group members and starting our walk, I discovered I didn't have my phone so I ran back to the car (uphill) to get it. Always being a few steps behind the group, I managed to take a few photos along the way at my own pace.
With this particular painting, I took many components from original scene and made it my own. It seems to be the BF style.
