Title says it all, folks.
Even if we have not been mutuals for very long, I’ve come to find that there are a LOT of really excellent and super interesting, not to mention hella kind, new people and muses that I’ve recently had the opportunity of getting to interact with.
Even if that means that there’s only been a single thread between us, we’ve chatted OOC or just plotted, and we’ve discussed what we’d like to do- we’ve done something together, or even just if ask-meme have been sent/received, replied to yet or not!
So what I’m asking, even though it’s a bit premature, is if any of you would like to become a “Main” or “Affiliate” with me over here at MusesForTheDamned.
Certain people’ve been with me for almost a decade and will be automatically added (and if that isn’t what you’d like, please DM me!).
However, this applies to everyone else who sees this on their Dashboard.
For those wondering what that means for me, MusesForTheDamned, it means the following:
Main & Affiliates:
Being MY “Main & Affiliates” means your muse (or likely your entire blog if you’re a multi and we write several muses together) would be my “go-to” when it comes to being yelled at about new plots/thoughts/headcanons/ships/lore/world-building.
This means that replies/starters/answered-asks would be prioritized. (Please keep in mind that this does not mean others will be ignored; instead, “Mains” will have their reply posted immediately, rather than being queued, and if they’re queued, they will be at the top of the list.)
You are often the go-to muse/mun I turn to with plot ideas when it comes to our muses in a storyline, canon, or shared universe, and the first to go to and develop new plot ideas with me when they are conceived, so we can create the ideas between the two of us.
You’re part of my extended RP family; this may include crossover muses, OC family members, canon-divergent AUs, or just trusted RP partners.
Significant, acknowledged, and get first priority when it comes to my (MusesForTheDamned) network of muses and/or plots.
Mains & Affiliates would usually share lore, worldbuilding, or linked plotlines, even if they don't interact all the time.
This opportunity, while it is often mutual, doesn’t have to be. You can be my main even if I’m not yours, though you won’t hear me complaining.
It doesn’t matter if you’ve been with me for weeks or days, hours, or just enough for one thread reply on each end, as long as we’ve had the following:
Requirements:
Mutuals — We’re both following each other and are interacting or have shown interest in writing together, building worlds, or plotting and going about threads.
Chemistry — Our characters click. Whether it’s lovers, enemies, siblings, or frenemies, there’s a spark.
Shared Passion — We’ve talked about history, events, or relationship dynamics, and if not, we want to/plan to.
The Want for Plotting — Even loosely! Occasional OOC messages, Discord plotting, and Tumblr DMs to check in or brainstorm.
Trust & Communication — There’s open conversation about direction, comfort zones, and boundaries.
Tagging / Mentions — You’re okay with being tagged in lore dumps, aesthetics, or character references, even outside of direct threads, such as ship aesthetics or things that remind me of our muses in any way.
OOC Familiarity — We have at least a basic rapport with each other, even if not yet all that close- you just have to be willing to deep dive into this world of writing!
