Mainsail is a decepticon who crashed on Earth with his crew and was taken care of by a human who found him in his alt-mode, beaten and in shambles, and brought him to shape. Mainsail, never a fiery fighter or a legitimate threat, grew fond of the human and found it more peaceful and nice living with them.
Conflicted about what he would do once Decepticon high command gets their hands on him again.

Mainsail is the current head of the house of her family, a seasoned captain leading the youngin's to sea. She took up the task of repairing the ancient family home one belonging to their ancestors back in the time of Alicorns.
Mainsail is a commanding and strong leader able to keep everyone working hard on the right task while making sure everyone is live and well as they work. Keeping it fun while they work. Mainsail brought this family together and she sure as heck wasn't gonna be the one to let it fall apart.
