With a huge selection on two floors of Main Street's historic Meyer Building, you're sure to find unique treasures for everyone on your list!

Affordable Christmas empowers local families with the opportunity to provide a fun Christmas for their children in a dignified manner by allowing families to purchase brand-new gifts at a reduced cost.

Families will be invited to a Christmas celebration breakfast with live music and photos with Santa, during which parents and guardians will have the opportunity to shop at an Affordable Christmas store. Families will be able to purchase three gifts, or up to $10 worth of gifts, per child. All gifts are brand-new and are marked at a tenth of the retail price and gift-wrapped on site. 

Gifts are donated by the community and the event is supported by volunteers from Redeemer Fellowship and community partners. If you are able, they are still in need of new, unwrapped toys for the 200+ invited families, with children ages birth to 17. They also need brand-new coats, gloves, hats, etc. for kids ages 2-17.

Office toy drives are a great way to partner with us as well. We are also accepting financial donations and gift cards.

Donations may be dropped off at Redeemer Fellowship Monday-Friday, 9 am – 4 pm until December 9, or during regular Sunday services (at 9 and 11 am and 5 pm).

The Kansas City chapter of the Urban Land Institute is holding their sixth biennial Development of Distinction Awards this year, honoring new developments that have gone above and beyond to raise the bar for excellence in development in Kansas City.
