💤Sleepytime Prompts: OPEN💤

So. It’s been a very long time since I wrote anything new. 😅 But I think, maybe-possibly, I’m ready to dip my toe back in the water. And since being very very tired has been a theme in my life recently, I adapted a list of sleepy prompts to use. 😂

So: send me a prompt number and your preferred character(s), and I’ll try to fling together some drabbles. “Ships” can be romantic or platonic (depending on the prompt), and OT3/4/mores are welcome.

A sprinkling gentle kisses over B to wake them

A singing B to sleep

A waking up confused as hell when they hear a loud thump, then trying not to laugh as they find B (just as confused, mind you) on the floor…

A noticing tiny habits that B may have in their sleep (scrunching their nose, pouting, etc.)

A falling asleep on B midway through the movie they swore they could get through

A falling asleep despite trying to stay awake to keep B company while they work late/are doing another activity, so B tucks them in and/or just puts them both to bed.

A gently pressing a kiss to B’s cheeks as they rest because they can’t help it, B just looks so peaceful

“You can sleep, I’ll still be here.”

A laughing at B’s texts when they see that the typos suddenly intensify and sentences stop making sense

A won’t wake up, so B has no choice but to take drastic (playful) measures

“I wish I could wake up with you like this every day…”

A gently shushing B back to sleep after they wake them up by entering the room.

A trying not to melt as B is found sleeping snuggled in A’s clothes/blanket.

I figured I should warn my followers that I've been falling down the mdzs/untamed vortex recently. ;) The yugioh content you probably came here for will continue unimpeded, never fear!! But there will probably be more of a mix of fandom for the foreseeable future- after all this IS technically a multi-fandom blog, lol. I tag everything, so just block "mdzs" if you want to stick to the yugiohs. Or- please join us in the vortex. It's very pretty in here. Lol!

Three random things, huh? Alrighty...

1) I have been playing some sort of musical instrument almost my whole life, with success level ranging from "quite good, actually" to "well, at least I'm having fun." :P

2) I love gardening. The growing season is too short and I miss playing in the dirt during the winter. (But I also have Too Many indoor plants, so...)

3) I have the "cilantro tastes kinda like soap or something" gene. I wish I knew what it tasted like to people who don't have it, since apparently?? It tastes good to some people??? Which is weird????

I need to know what Atem angst is xD and-and also the Halloween fic :3c

Alright, the Atem angst I rambled about already here. It’s more of a vague collection of concept points than a “true” WIP, but it’s in the folder, so named it was. ;)

Halloween Fic: Hoo boy, this is the one I was FOR SURE posting two Halloweens ago, and then FOR SURE last Halloween and then, well... -gestures vaguely in 2020- and now might be written for this Halloween if I can get the rest of it down? Ryou/TK/YM, multichapter fic. It started with the following half-asleep note-to-self: “Kura and Kek go to a haunted house to mock them by being totally deadpan. Some employees are freaked out. Some are annoyed. But one is absolutely  d e t e r m i n e d  to give them a proper scare. His name is Ryou.“  It grew into a fun halloweeny story involving vampires and demons and gratuitous flirting and oh shit D: dramatic moments, and I really need to finish it one of these years. lol!!

Beach fic beach fic beach fic

Ahaha omg that one's awkward. It's exactly what the title sounds like, just all the bois having a time down at the beach. But you see, a friend and I started to write it together eons ago and finished like 80-90% of it, and then Life Happened and we kind of forgot about it for the last few years? Maybe we should finish the last 10-20% someday and post it, RIP.

I dunno if you're still doing the WIP ask game, but Heka Fic pt2 ? 👀

Heka Zine pt 2 is a teeny tiny document with some scraps of ideas and dialogue for a (theoretical) continuation of the piece I did for the free Heka zine (this one here).

What I wrote ended up essentially being the prequel to the original idea, but the rest never really got fleshed out. In essence: “Something something Ryou learns magic properly, and along the way ends up realizing he’s using light magic to compliment Kek’s shadow magic, and then they proceed to kick about ten different kinds of ass as the dessert’s greatest power couple”. Woohoo!
