Sri Lanka president bans 3 extremist groups and flying of drone in the country

Sri Lanka government has banned three extremist groups in the country, after the Easter Sunday terror attack were 250 civilians lost their lives. President Maithripala Sirisena issued a notice to banned the extremist groups and there will be restriction of flying drone in the country till the further notice. According to the Gazette the National Thowheed Jamaath (NTJ), the Jamaathe Millaathe Ibrahim (JMI), and the Willayath As Seylani (WAS) organisations have been banned. On April 21, nine suicide bombers carried out a terror attack in Sri Lanka and which left the government and citizen in shock. Blasts took place in three churches and some luxury hotels and it killed 250 people including 44 foreigners 10 of them were Indians and 500 people were injured. The Islamic State terror group claimed the attacks, but the government blamed local Islamist extremist group National Thowheeth Jamaath (NTJ). Over 1,000 have been arrested since the attacks.
