The Sarangani Coffee Industry Development Council and USAID Safe Water have conducted a two-day Coffee Training Production to coffee farmers/mentors situated in the Western Sarangani Watershed areas (Maasim, Kiamba and Maitum or MAKIMA plus GenSan). It's a Training for Trainers (ToT) activity that ran from October 20-21, 2022, at Barangay Upo, #Maitum, Sarangani Province. It aims to train our coffee farmers/mentors on good agricultural practices to produce quality coffee beans and to help increase their income, as well as to improve water resources in their areas. It also encourages them to become coffee mentors in their respective communities. ACDI-VOCA-PhilCAFE Project Regional Coordinator Allan Datu-Imam was the resource speaker for the said training. #Yaduing #Sarangani #Saranganicoffee #'coffeefarmers #coffeefarming #coffee #coffeeindustry #travelphilippines #agriculture (at Barangay Upo Maitum Sarangani) https://www.instagram.com/p/Cj_huFVhDQK/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

[Featured Content Creator] JM Ganuan and the Team Dahon JM Ganuan and Ymmor Namsu started their leaves-themed photoshoot on January 24, 2020. It was just for fun and amusement. It eventually grew into a weekly photoshoot since many of JM’s friends got entertained with their creation. They use different leaves that can be found in their barangay. “We use leaves to be unique. We also want to show different plants that can be found in our barangay,” JM said. John Mark Dalimbang Ganuan (or JM) is a Tboli who is based in Upo, Maitum, Sarangani Province. She worked as KapitBahay Aralan Facilitator of Save the Children (2015-2016); a Daycare Teacher(2017); served as the Barangay Secretary of Upo (2018); and a Teacher Librarian (in 2019 at St. Patrick Math- Science School). "Before we start our photoshoot, we think of a concept that would suit the outfit we conceptualized. We would look for leaves that are suited for the concept with the help of my team. I also think of its caption based on the concept of the photoshoot.” Despite the team’s efforts on entertaining their followers, JM still receives hateful comments on social media. “I always remind myself and the team to spread love and kindness and never entertain bashers,” JM said. Team Dahon’s creativity paved the way to feature them in national and local TV stations. JM did not expect that they would be recognized for their talents. JM and her team dreamed of being in the fashion industry. “We thanked God for this blessing and for the talents He gave us. We will make more content to give happiness to our viewers. We are thankful for their support and kind words. Please continue to support us. Please help us reach our dreams in life,” JM said. _______ Please Like and Subscribe: Facebook page: JEKA-Dahon YouTube Channel: JM GANUAN - OFFICIAL ________ Creative Director: JM Ganuan Wardrobe Designer & Photographer: Ymmor Namsu (Rommy Timbagan Usman) Stylist: Orlan Jay Lopez Assistant.Stylist: Nelpa Brosas Hair & Make-up: JM Ganuan Video Editor: JM Ganuan Videographer: Dionisio Salvatierra #Yaduing #contentcreator #Maitum #SaranganiStories https://www.instagram.com/p/CFwig3qng6q/?igshid=iivbbqo5sdug
