cinnamon. have you ever lined up for pretzels at an auntie anne's stall? that smell of freshly baked cinnamon pretzel is basically the greatest thing ever.

it just sucks it's too hot right now for me to be lighting candles at home. damn southern weather.

all right, because you’re the one who’s asking– yes. and we dated in the height of my struggling author career, by which i mean the point where i was struggling the most. i was absolutely… good to her, actually, like i was a pretty decent boyfriend. pretty decent, if not super ugly.

of course, being good to someone doesn’t matter if they don’t love you the same way. and i wouldn’t say i hate her for having sex in my apartment with another man, but there’s definitely a really shitty taste in my mouth just remembering.

“I have this pair of vintage Chanel heels in my closet that my grandmother gave me before we moved down to Beaumont. She never wore them, they were more of a display piece in their house. Obviously, they didn’t fit me at the time I was four, but she wanted me to have them when I grew up and started wearing heels more. Surprisingly, they’re a perfect fit.”
