HONESTLY idk for sure. 1st ppl called them racist for saying “i wasn’t raised in the hood / but i know a thing or two about pain and darkness” in Lane Boy, which is such a reach imo, then they got called transphobic but it turned out it was Tyler’s brother that was shitty not them? then they get called homophobic bc uhh they brushed off some fans’ coming out story & bc they didn’t say anything when same sex marriage was legalised?? also some said the timh music video was glamorizing domestic abuse,,, idfk here’s  some posts i found but honestly their arguments are stretched sooo thin
