Halloween 2011 (a.k.a. my birthday)
This past weekend was fun, but a tiring Halloween/birthday weekend! I took Friday and Monday off from work so I could enjoy a 4 day weekend. Friday was a costume party (seemed like only half the people even bothered to dress up) at 330 Ritch. I woke up the next morning with a minor hangover so I told myself I wasn't drinking that much at Monster Ball on Saturday night. Elisa worked on her make up for hours, and it was well worth it because the outcome was scary good! Sunday was my chill day to relax and rest from the partying. I got to catch up on The Walking Dead episode 2, before watching the brand new episode 3. At 8PM, I was glued to the TV for The Simpsons Treehouse of Horror XXII. Elisa got me a birthday cake (was NOT expecting one), and my birthday presents: Nikkor 50mm f/1.8 lens and GoPro LCD screen. All in all, a great 4 days off. Needed a little getaway from work. Well, back to reality tomorrow...
