Jason Todd doesn’t consume Major Comics material, as whenever he was coerced into doing so, it was emotionally stressful and made him cry, notable examples being when American Crusader refused to replace his sidekick, the convoluted death/reincarnation/child murder/body snatching redemption arc for the Wundajin villain Guunling, and the bizarre similarities the “Prototype Machinehead” arc had to his whole thing he had going on when he first came back as Red Hood. It’s uncomfortable, ya know?
