If the maknae line were all highkey yanderes (but different types of yanderes) and all had an obsession with the same person, how would they act towards each other and their s/o? Would they work together? Have a rivalry? Try to be the favourite? That sort of thing, thanks I love your writing!
Oof I’ve got so many scenarios for this. Alrighty, let’s do this.
~Usually, in a yandere vs other rivals situations they can easily blackmail, threaten, hurt or manipulate someone else or their love interest so the yandere is the only one who their partner will have. There’s more complications to it than this watered down version but it is simpler and easier than being in a situation where two others yanderes are just as dedicated as the other is.
~Initially, there is definitely some intense tension as they all try to steal you away from one another, and villainous each other so you can see the faults in the others, and the best in that specific yandere. If it seems like you favour one over the other, then the other two will team up and try to make the favoured one look bad. This cycle repeats each time one of them gets too close to you.
~Eventually, with or without another love interest acting as a catalyst, they’ll come to a comprise and decide to share you. It’s really messy in the beginning, because each one is a different yandere. As a result, they will also punish you differently if you upset them. Based on this, say that you did something to upset Jungkook, due to his sadist nature, he would start of by harming you physically. But if he’s caught by Taehyung, who literally thinks of you as a deity, then there will be trouble. Taehyung would become quite infuriated and end up in a fight with Jungkook.
~In an instance where you know how to play your cards right, and are able to use Taehyung’s obsession and the fact that it doesn’t take much to satisfy Jimin except for being by his side to your advantage, and manipulate them to do your bidding, Jungkook would be the one to see through you. And he would expose you to the other two, who would feel absolutely betrayed and hurt by your actions.
~In the end, they establish a bunch of rules and share their time with you equally. Some of these established rules would be the along the lines that during one person’s time with you, the other two can’t intervene. It’s not really a problem, except when you are with Jungkook because it doesn’t take much to set him off, and when he does go off, he can be ruthless. But as long as you can are okay enough for the next person, its alright. Another rule would be that while you are with one of them, you can’t bring up the other two, and etc.
Whether this is a dream harem in which attractive boys constantly pay attention to you, or a never ending night mare because you can’t be your own person, that’s for you to decide.
