Make a Path Presents talks about some of the parallels between Jame Lannister and Rick Grimes. What really makes me geek out is the fact that Jaime x Brienne mirrors Rick x Michonne. Spoilers for Game of Thrones and the Walking Dead comic book. Trigger warning for rape as well.

In the Comic Book Michonne (a badass swordswoman) takes a stand against the Governor to stop him from terrorizing Rick. She bites off the guy’s ear! She is systematically raped as a result. Brienne (a badass swordswoman) is going to be raped. Jaime stands up for her and comes up with a scheme to save her from being tortured. It back fires and his hand is chopped off. This makes me wonder if there’s some mutual admiration/shipping going on between Robert Kirkman and GRRM’s two series. It just makes me geek out to the maximum.
