Task Manager Subtypes
Most standard models fall under one of two major subtypes: diurnal ("solar") or nocturnal ("lunar") based on their Task type, which dictates their base personality traits and applicable features. The information displayed is considered incredibly broad and lacking in nuance, as all TMs are prone to develop new quirks and habits over time, especially if they Awaken at any point. (Yes, this can be read as "introverted" type and "extroverted" type XD )
The body types are not a hard rule, they're mostly a trend found when surveying customers. Specific model makes far more difference in body type at lower grades than the broader category suggests, and these were in turn affected by long-running patterns in purchaser preference that remained consistent for years.
Each subtype has 4 units made with a mirrored pair that are designed to work together when Locked, plus one additional free-standing model meant for commercial uses. Despite design concepts in mind at conception, any model can be Locked to any other (no more than 3 in a Locked system unless there is a Nebula center point), though it's recommended to Lock one of each subtype together to ensure proper care of the joined units (Diurnal-Nocturnal > D-D/N-N). Locks are also NOT NECESSARY as each unit model is equipped to work as a stand-alone*.
