people's nightbringer theories are like "barbatos saw into the future and knows who mc is" and i feel like they're forgetting the canon fact that he doesn't use his foresight unless diavolo tells him to

One thing that really bugs me about the Gastina break up, in addition of everything else, is that we never get to know why Gastón even came to Buenos Aires for two days.
He's just there. Because this doesn't really bode well with his "I don't know when I return" speech for Nina. It doesn't matter when you return if you can just causally jump on a plane for a weekend when you want, because that's what you are doing right now.
Most drivers are complaining about the "made up drama" in Drive to Survive...but they could literally review all the scenes they were in as the episodes were being edited
not @ white elijah telling the black mc that she wasn’t in any danger of being arrested compared to him and noah....
i've never watched cql but i've read enough fics that had cql elements to have knowledge about it, albeit limited. one thing i don't understand tho is when all of the wen remnants marched to koi tower to surrender themselves. and then nightless city happened. i don't get why wwx didn't take a-yuan and just run away together. didn't the wen leave the both of them in the burial mounds? knowing wwx's fondness for that boy, it doesn't make sense to charge to nightless city, since he has an inkling that he might not survive that confrontation. unless ofc, i'm getting this all wrong. i think it's just ooc of wwx to leave a-yuan behind. unless again, i'm lacking context here because i didn't watch cql.
In all honesty the Nightless City issue is one of my biggest gripes about CQL (even though I have a lot but shhhhh).
I think they tried to condense it since it was about a few days in the book and Wei Wuxian himself had just happened to run across the the sects planning to ambush him in Burial Mounds. The Wens as well as Wei Wuxian were left in Burial Mounds since Wen Ning and Wen Wing thought their deaths would be what saved them. I suppose they also wanted to add an element of there being no time but it makes no sense that Wei Wuxian would have just... left A-yuan alone like that in CQL. Same with the timing of Lan Wangji's wounds since for Wei Wuxian's actual death it was meant to be open ended and tragic that he didn't get to see Wei Wuxian even once after everything. The same goes for Wei Wuxian's death wish in CQL with purposely falling to his death, since he said he would practically fight tooth and nail out of spite against the clans for being so shameless and underhanded for it all. He had tried to evacuate the mountain as was shown with how A-Yuan was hidden away in the novel. So as to why Lan Wangji found A-Yuan BEFORE Wei Wuxian died in the cave of all things.... ???
