There are so many complaints I have about legal CLE that really boil down to:

The bar to get board-approved is so low that I rarely learn anything useful.

There is little I can do to anticipate the quality of any given CLE before I pay for it.

An incredible number of presenters speak in droning monotone.

My practice area is so niche that there’s barely any relevant options available.

Which would not matter all that much if not for the fact that the CLE requirement does not reduce the likelihood of shitty attorneys being shitty.
