New to tumblr. I have been tracking my weight daily since 04/01 and now also have an exercise journal. #goteamskinny is something I facebook, instagram & tweet about because I love the support online and I love supporting others with similar goals! This has nothing to do with being "skinny" BTW. The Three Tricks to Team Skinny are: 1) #support - talk about your goals, progress, cheats and reasons WHY you are looking to change your body with your friends so they can support your good choices and give you positive feedback 2) #makeitagame - see how many times you can "check-in" to the gym you go to or give yourself a dollar for every pound you use towards your "goal outfit" 3) #tracking - write down everything you can to help yourself see your progress when you think you have none. Inches, Pounds, Clothing Sizes, etc What's most important to my journey is why I want to change my body. Being heavy wasn't my problem, it was my solution. When I was sad, I ate, when I felt ugly or like a failure, I ate. Food was my protection My new focus is on my happiness and not judging myself so harshly. Taking pride in my image is part of being happy with my whole life. Aside from my new goals in health and fitness my life has always been as great as it is right now, I am just better at being grateful and content.
