It’s my birthday and I’ll make it nice is I want to!

It’s my birthday tomorrow and in an attempt to end the reigning tradition of HATING my birthday, I decided to take matters into my own hands and bake MYSELF birthday cupcakes. My favorite kind of cake! 

(White cake with a raspberry and dark chocolate ganache filling and white chocolate Swiss merengue buttercream)

And to top it all off, I’m going to make a BUNCH and bring them into work tomorrow to share them with all of my students and coworkers because I know that’ll make me happy.

I am loving the @prsguitars Archon Supermodel amp sim from @wavesaudio. It actually sounds SO MUCH BETTER than the sound I get from miking my dual rectifier. It’s kind of bittersweet. My rectifier cost me $2k. The PRS supermodels cost me $29. @bilmuriband really inspired me when Johnny said it’s possible to get a great sound with decent gear, you just have to MAKE it sound good.
