I was so excited when I opened up June’s Makerly box to see that it involved using resin, a medium that I have wanted to try out for a while! I couldn’t wait to get started on this box, so pretty much started it straight away. This craft also takes a little longer than most the the Makerly kits, mainly just the time it takes to let the resin properly set.

Makerly February – Cosmic Bath Bombs

This months Makerly box was a complete kit to create some fantastic Cosmic Bath Bombs! I haven’t made bath bombs for years, so couldn’t wait to get started! There was an allergy warning for this box as it included almond oil, but a substitute was recommended. I really liked the theme of these bath bombs and the little extras that came with the box.

Makerly January – Rag Rugging

I couldn’t wait to get started on Januarys Makerly Box that I actually forgot to take a photo of the box content before I started with the craft! This months box was on rag rugging, a great craft which traditionally uses unwanted/scrap materials and turns them into a rug (or something similar) – a great form of up-cyling!

Makerly November – Needle Felted Robin

Novembers Makerly box included everything you needed to make a needle felted robin! I loved this box as it really was perfect for november and autumn.

My Box – To create the needle felted Robin the box contained the following items:

3 colours of natural wool

2 egg shaped and one small polystyrene balls

Two eyes

Wire

Pliers

Felting needle
