Meet the Make Week Day1: Elevator Pitch 👉🔴⚪️⚪️⚪️⚪️⚪️ Hello! My name is Eric Au, that’s pronounced like you got pinched in the arm. I tend to say this: I make stuff for a living. Which leads the asker to ask: like what kind of things? To which I answer: I do a lot of industrial sewing, material research, or whatever is trending in my brain. It’s a little weird describing what I do. I describe my work as functional, but considered. Aesthetic, but also meant to be used. I am a serial #Makesplainer, telling you how I made what I made with what I made it with. I recently learned about the term Artificer (a skilled artistic worker or craftsman), if I had to choose ONE word that would be it. I’ve also been called a Maker, what I really am is an Industrial Designer, I went to school for it and I am fortunate enough to work in my field of study. However, most think I am an Engineer and while I do a lot engineering, I assure you I am not an engineer. You can find my work over @skinthsolutions and skinthsolutions.com #makersgonnamake #elevatorpitch #15secondsaboutyourself https://www.instagram.com/p/B5k2aSmgS9R/?igshid=165xvj8pnv24z
