This next brief is all about the Hay Festival, using my illustration skills and some communication skills to enable me and my classmates to create some sustainable art for the children who attend the Hay Festival. These illustrations are being distributed through the Hay Festival during May and June. The next part of the brief includes a day where we use our recycled materials and some art activities involving some key facts about the oceans and how we can keep the oceans clean. We will be using the ‘make and take tent’ to give the kids interesting workshops and other sustained activities to teach them all about how to save the planet. The Hay Festival is a literature festival that takes place every year through May and June, where many people take their children to see the wonderful books and other fun activities. It enables us to read new books or just take a look at the tents. They host some amazing activities for children, which we will be apart of this year. I have included some ideas in the pictures down below, but more to come!
