I mentioned a primer in yesterday’s post and a few people had a couple questions about it so I decided to do a post on it. If you like using matte primers meet your new best friend Conceal & Fix Primer by Revolution.
This primer is a mattifying primer with salicylic acid to smooth the skin and help minimise blemishes. It costs £8.00 and you get 30ml of product so you get a lot of product for a reasonable price. The primer will work for all skin tones and when applied it almost feels like a moisteriser because of the lightness of the formula and yet it does leave your face feeling nice and matte.
I’ve tried this primer out with various foundations from drugstore to highend end and hydrating to matte formulas and the primer performs the same way every time leaving my skin feeling hydrated and matte. Recently I’ve loved pairing it with my Charlotte Tilbury foundation and my Maybelline Superstay 24hr foundation and it works like a dream team.
This is why I love Revolution as a brand even though I love trying all types of brands whether drugstore or highend Revolution is a brand I love to go back to. I have a few Revolution products to review soon as well so you’ll see this brand pop up a few times over the new week and a bit.
