Let’s talk - my holiday break skincare SAVIOR!
As pictured, the Philosophy Microdelivery Peel is a two-step exfoliating peel that rejuvenates, renews, and refreshes tired, dull, flakey skin.
Deets: I traveled over Christmas from California to the east coast and to say that was skin was parched is an understatement. When I got home to California, I was DESPERATE for a fresh start, and I remembered I had these products in my medicine cabinet! Thankfully, I received these as a gift, so I didn’t have to pay the hefty $72 price tag. I’m hoarding them and using them ultra-sparingly because a) I don’t want to over-exfoliate and b) (as Kathleen Lights would say) das esspensive.
So how does it work?
Step one is the pot of micro-crystals that work hard to exfoliate and resurface your skin. Composed mainly of Vitamin C and Peptides, step one is fighting aging and dullness as you gently scrub it in.
Step two is a gel composed of lactic and salicylic acids. If salicylic acid sounds familiar, that’s because it’s the BHA responsible for fighting acne! The second step of the Philosophy Microdelivery Peel helps clear up skin and refresh your pores as you combine it with step one on your face!
It’s important to remember that resurfacing your skin shouldn’t be done too often and with too much vigor. Be gentle to your face, and allow it to renew itself unless, like me, your post-holiday-travel skin was DESPERATE for a fresh start.
If you’ve tried this product, did you love it? Or do you exfoliate and regenerate in other ways? I’m dying to know (:
