Year Long Project Pan 2019 Update - 19 in 2019
Project No Buy -- Lips
These 2 nude lips are my most used. They are the coloupop lux lipstick in the color what’s your sign? and the dose of colors matte liquid lipstick in the color truffle.
these are my 3 favorite lip glosses right now and the ones i think i will definitely make a dent in this month! these are the tarte tartiest glossy lip paint in the color insta famous, the kylie cosmetics lip gloss in the color cupid, and my favorite one, the colourpop ultra glossy lip in the color neat freak.
Project No Buy -- Face
This is what I’m going to focus on what I already have a significant dent in. For bronzer and contour I’m using the Anastasia contour kit in light to medium, which I love. I mostly use the bronzer/contour shades but I love them. The blush I’m working on this month is the tart amazonian clay 12-hour blush in the color paaarty, which i will definitely use up this month. For an all over highlight on my face I love the toofaced candlelight glow in the color rosy glow. For highlight I’m using the colourpop super shock cheek in the color on the cusp, one of my absolutely favorite.
This isn’t really a face product that I’m to use up but i want to keep up my progress with this product. i love these they are the cover fx glitter drops. i dont like to use these on my face but i love putting this on my chest area for when i go out.
Project No Buy -- Eyes
For my brows I’ve been using the Anastasia Beverly Hills Dip Brow Pomade in Blonde and the Essence Make Me Brow in Browny Brown. I don’t usually buy a crazy amount of brow products at once so I know I’ll use these up before I buy anymore. I’m pretty consistent with my brow products and have been loving these ones for a while.
I’ve been using this primer for such a long time I can’t believe it’s still working. I’ve been ride or die for the Urban Decay eye shadow primer potion for a long time but I may be in the mood to try something new out after I’m done with this one.
This is the eye shadow palette I’ve decided I’m going to try to use up some of in the month of April. I figure if I use it consistently I can make a dent in some of the mattes. I love this palette I got it in my March BoxyCharm, it is the Morphe Brunch Babes palette.
In addition to the palette I figured I would try and use up some individual shadows I have. I already have a pretty big dent in these 3. They are the tarte chrome paint in the color top yacht, the colourpop super shock shadow in the color lightening bug and the colourpop super nova shadow in the color constellation. I decided on these 3 because they are all significantly different and I like all of them.
Eyeliner and mascara will be hard to track because of the packaging but I’m using the stila stay all day waterproof liquid eye liner, the toofaced better than sex mascara and the maybelline lash sensational luscious mascara, all in black
Project No Buy -- Base
These are the 2 primers I’m going to try and use up during the month of April. I like these doing the school year when I’m a little more stressed because I find that my pores are a bit more noticeable when I’m stressed. The e.l.f Poreless Putty Primer I bought because of Jeffree Star’s video and I love it so far. For $8 you can’t go wrong with it. The touch in SOL no pore blem primer is perfect to hydrate and fill in the pores, I got it in my March boxycharm and I’ve used a lot of it since I received it.
The foundation I’m focusing on right now if the NARS Natural Radiant Longwear Foundation. I wear the color Mont Blanc. I really am enjoying it, I have about half the bottle left and it it becoming my favorite foundation of all time.
The concealer I’m using right now is the e.l.f. 16hr Camo Concealer. I mix the 2 shades fair warm and fair rose because they are either too yellow or too pink for what I like under my eyes. I like this concealer, but I still like the Tarte Shape Tape and the Revolution concealer a bit better. I find this one makes my under eyes look a little more dry than those 2. The revolution is the same price as well so when I finish these that is probably going to be what I replace them with.
I’m currently using 2 setting powders, the TooFaced Born This Way Ethereal Setting Powder and the Maybelline Fit Me Pressed Powder. I mostly use the pressed powder to set my eye shadow primer, I don’t really like pressed powders to set my face. I love the TooFaced powder very much. It doesn’t dry me out and there is no flash back at all, which can be an issue with loose setting powder.
The 2 setting sprays I’m using right now are the Mario Badescu facial spray and the e.l.f. matte magic mist & set. I only use the e.l.f. spray to wet eye shadows to make them more intense. I find that when I use my face setting spray to do that I go through them very quickly and the e.l.f. one is only $3 so I don’t mind using it quickly. I like the Mario Badescu spray to make my powders melt into my face, however it does not help with the longevity at all. I’m almost done with both of these and will most definitely use them up in the month of April.
Project No Buy
I have a problem, much like any other makeup addict. I cannot stop buying makeup. All the new releases and sales have me hooked. I’m spending way more on makeup than I can afford. I figured that if I force myself to continue to update on here I will actually hold myself accountable and I can actually finish up some makeup from my collection. I also love the pan updates from other people so I wanna try and stay on top of this and actually do some monthly updates.
