Tuesday Tip: Finding the Right Makeup Brushes
The lovely lady at yourseternally asked me about the right makeup brushes to use weeks ago...
While I could write a Tuesday Tip about it, I found this great video about using the right brushes that gives great visuals for it.
She gives the right brushes to use, brands, the effects of the brushes and how to apply them...I love it!
She also gives alternatives for cheaper brands (non-MAC brands) that one can try...she mentions MakeupGeek which I think is her own line but I'd suggest trying Sephora's brushes or a line that's at Target by Sonia Kashuk (if you're really ballin' on a budget).
Yet, in every lady's makeup case (in my opinion) should be some q-tips. They're great for applying the concealer under your brow that I rave about, correcting small makeup mistakes and dabbing on eyeshadow primer.
She mentions quite a few brushes but you need at least 4 to create a good overall look.
**you'll want to use a different brush for every color or clean the same few ones really well so you don't mix colors**
Out of the ones she mentions, here are my picks:
1. Stiff Dome Brush (great for applying eyeshadow)
2. Pencil Brush (can also be subbed for a small angle brush to use along the lid line)
3. Stippling brush (great for blending liquid foundation, the contour brush is better for blending powder foundation or bronzer. The major difference is that the contour is softer.)
4. Angle Brush (used for filling perfecting your brows, go here for my tips on how to do that.)

Enjoy!
Stumbled across this website the other day, and I must say I'm addicted to it, from tutorials, makeup trends and reviews. Loved reading this article and watching the video, Hilarss!
