So I got the bracket for the Muribot in the mail and it's awesome! Shapeways really out did themselves. Unfortunately all my attempts to mold it have been utter failures. It's just not suited to being molded this way...
This necessitates getting a 3D Printer before my kickstarter, but which one? I took a look at the Makibox but I'm not sure if it'll be high enough quality, it's cheap though and the build area is exactly what I want. The next is the phoenix 3D printer, it's build area is way larger than I need at the moment, and the price is about double, but the quality of the prints in nothing to scoff at.
I think it's a wise investment, that might allow me to make the Muribot even better. If you have any input on good 3d printers I'd be happy to hear it!
I've been working on the software for the usb bootloader, as well as doing a final debug of the pcb. I'm glad I do so many checks because I discovered a bunch of problems with the SC806 charger IC I'm using and how I had it wired up.
