As a short person, I often reap the many benefits of being small, (the best hiding places, not being able to reach high shelves, being able to leap over tiny buildings in a single bound, people constantly thinking it's okay to use my head/shoulders as arm rests, getting asked what the weather is like) but if think, for one second, that I enjoy switching my bed covers, than you are WRONG my friend. I just spent a good half an hour trying to lift the heavy ass mattress high enough to put on the fitted sheet, shortly followed by falling into a giant pile of bed linen trying to put the doona cover on the doona, then having to stand ON the neat, clean, tidy bed with dirty feet in order to lift the actual doona high enough so that it doesn't hit the ground as I shake the cover down so that it covered the doona completely, then having to find a place for the doona so that I can brush the shirt of the bed before putting the doona on top. THEN I have to stand on the bed ONCE AGAIN in order to place the doona on the bed without falling into the bed and injuring my shins on the bedframe. Then just collapse into a pile because I've given up. Redoing my bed is hard as fuck for me and I hate it with every fibre of my being.
