What’re some human canonically nonbinary characters y’all
Rule 1: Always ask questions, always check sources
Rule 2: Misogyny + the patriarchy affects everyone
Rule 3: There are exceptions and loopholes to every broad statement (even this one) (eg. "a cell cannot become another cell after differentiation") (something something simplification -> misinformation is a thin line)
Rule 4: Everyone has bias about everyone and everything
Rule 5: Education should be free and accessible
mouldy or fleshy trypophobia triggering images
dead animals especially roadkill
someone getting very excited and caring and mushy over a conventionally unappealing creature eg. a vinegaroon
the pictures they put on cigarette boxes to discourage smoking
Hi! I thought I'd share some manhwa recs I think you might like. Not much abs, as I recall, but you might enjoy the story. Both are completed. And relatively short.
1) Beware the villainess! - maybe you've heard of this one. Modern student wakes up as a villainess in a novel, proceeds to detail the story in the best ways. This is a fun romp, with shitty male leads getting comeuppance, the heroine becoming friends with the villainess. Melissa is a delight. Her maid is amazing. Truly, I recommend this if you want something fun to read and don't want to wait around for updates.
2) The return of the 8th class mage - this one turned out to be an unexpectedly good story. Mage regresses after being murdered, seeks revenge against his murderer. The guy isn't insane about revenge (he works at it, yes, but not totally consumed by it) , mostly works to avoid things going the same way. Magic, some politics, a hidden enemy. It's pretty short too - 81 chapters.
2 more stories come to mind. I don't think are any abs, sorry.
- Perks of being an S-class heroine / A transmigrator's privilege - not sure if it's from you I learned about this one. It's ongoing, with a spunky heroine transmigrated because of a system glitch. Must save the world if she doesn't want to die. I love this girl so much!
- The S-class lady / S-Class hunter does not want to be villainous princess - ongoing. Do you know this one? Transmigrated into a hellish novel, finally done with the quest - and transmigrated AGAIN instead of the promised reward of returning home. MC is very OP in a fun way. She just wants to go home to her dog, dammit.
Full disclosure: I've read / am reading these on bato.to but all 4 are available on mangabuddy
All hail the adblockers!
oh my goodness! Thank you so much! All of these sound so interesting. I actually already had Perks of being an S-Class heroine on my 'to read' list because it looked like so much fun so I KNOW I'm really going to enjoy the rest of these that you picked. I'm already fully in sympathy for the girl that just want to go home to her dog for instance! Thank you for finding me more delicious stories to enjoy @fracturedvu!
And - full disclosure - the abs is a joke I have with myself. When I started reading manhwas there were so many that whipped out the abs Right Away that I started to make a running joke to myself that 'here come the abs'. You're the first person to comment on it though so I'm delighted that I got noticed with my stupid little aside joke.
Also agreed. All hail the adblockers! I read way too much on kaliscan and I wouldn't go near that place with a ten foot pole if I didn't have uBlock Origin.
