We used to have big Christmas bows on our main gate. When they started wearing out last year, I wanted to replace them but it was a time when we weren’t allowed to buy “non-essential” goods during Christmas. So my daughter and I used things we had to make a wreath. Since there was only one, it would have gone in the middle of the gate somehow, but we never did figure out a way to attach it…

I'm really enjoying these merchandising shifts I've been getting. I may not be as fast as the other people, but I am taking the time to do it right. I am getting faster every day. I think this might be the best job I've had in a long time. It's really perfect for me. Now I have to convince my boss. 😊 I talked more with Tay about renting the house. I'm starting to get more and more excited about it. This could be a wonderful choice for us.

I may regret that decision in a very short amount of time. Poo. Today so far has not been very productive, due to the fact that I woke up far too late because I cannot seem to sleep a full night here. In any case, I felt that I should mention that I made some really thrifty finds yesterday, including two Forever 21 tops (found at Goodwill for $4.99 each), a ships and anchors menswear tie ($2.15), another gift for Heather, and an adorable little vintage love seat piece for my new bathroom ($1.50). (: We put together the cabinet I purchased for my bathroom, because there is hardly any storage in there. It makes my bathroom extra small, but I'm okay with that. We stocked up on groceries, and bought our microwave. We found a perfect dining room table for $119. We also found the perfect book shelves for my room & the living room, and a desk set for me. And we're buying a plasma TV next week that will go above our fireplace, along with a wall mount, for all of our movie nights, game nights, and parties. Our housewarming party is going to be wonderful. (: I can't wait! We're going to be living here at least a year, so we're going to make it as perfect as possible (: I'm excited (:
