So I took a really really reeeeeeeeally long break. I think for 2 -3 years. I've been lurking from time to time before but I think I wanna get back to this again.
What lured me back in? The IRIS Project. I may not watch Jack like religiously but I was still caught up.
Before I left, the last ego video I watched was the CHASE one and I just saw that he did a Marvin one and my jaw dropped like I didn't expect him to do one. And now, the IRIS project OH MY GOD. I was speechless. I was there during the livestream with the puzzles (YES, I HATE THE PIPES) and watched sean's livestream on twitch talking about the project and he outdid himself! I thought the acting was phenomenal! and I'm glad mark, amy, ethan, arin and the other staff helped him make this possible.
I really can't wait for more because I'm sure he'll bring back ALL the egos again. We are in for a ride.

Your mind is something you would compare to a pinwheel. One moment it’s going like a thousand miles per hour and the next it’s not moving at all. That was your problem, the one problem that you’ve been living with your whole life. You couldn’t seem to focus much as a kid and that never seemed to leave you like you hoped it would. One thing that you hated was being overwhelmed by it.
Living where you currently live though wasn’t helping you out in the slightest. Every other day there always seemed to be something new. There was always a new argument, a new tantrum, a change in the scenery. It was those times where you couldn’t seem to get anything, to function just right. You never blamed them for it, it was just how they are and there was no changing them.
So you had to find some way to work around it, that’s what drew you to Host. The calm and collected narrator with supernatural powers. No matter what was going on in the rest of the house his room was always quiet. The first time you had an episode of shutting down was while Dark and Wilford were going at it again and nearly tore the house down.
Host was the one to approach you when you were sitting in the hallway with your hands over your ears and your eyes closed. He had no problem with taking you to his room and helping you out of this state that you were in and all he had to do was just talk to you.
So that’s where you were currently walking, rubbing your temples as you go. In the main room of the house was practically a rave when Dark wasn’t home to stop them from being crazy. A small groan leaves you when you reach his room, knocking on his door. You can’t even find your voice your mind’s running a million miles per hour.
The door opens after a moment and instantly a calming sensation takes over you as you glance up at Host. A small smile is on his face for a moment as he tilts his head. “The Host suspects that Y/n is here do to the chaos that’s happening in the mansion.” He states, moving back to let you in the room. “The Host’s room is always open to you.”
You walk into the room and plop yourself down on the cushioned chair in his room. Host closes the door and goes back to the work he was doing at his desk. Just as you lean your head back on the couch Host starts talking into the mic, his calming voice filling the room and the rest of the day you spent like that, in the chair, listening to Host talk while the rest of the house was filled with chaos.
"Jesus Christ this game is so spooky guys!" (Y/n) called out to her camera whipping around to see any possible oncoming threats. "Why did I agree to this!?" She was beyond nervous and just waiting for the inevitable scare, but it was talking it's sweet time, torturing her. "There you are!" Her enemy in the game called out having spot her, his sudden outburst causing her to scram out in shock. "(Y/n) LOOK OUT!" Mark shouted jumping at her to grasp her shoulders dramatically. (Y/n) screamed again punching Mark in the face in her panic, realization hitting her almost immediately, while Mark groaned out in pain holding his face. "Fuck Mark are you okay!?" She quickly ripped off the VR set and her headphones, dropping them to the floor without a care. "I'm okay." He groaned with a small chuckle, a little blood on his lip. "I'm so so so fucking sorry!" (Y/n) panicked wrapping her arms around his shoulders, hugging him tightly. "It's okay, it was my fault anyways." Mark chuckled again wrapping his arms around her waist, burying his head into her neck. "I feel like shit though." (Y/n) sighed holding him even tighter. "How can I make it up to you?" She added needing to do something as an apology. "You don't-" Mark began but was cut off by (Y/n) scoffing at him. "Okay.... How about you bake me some cinnamon rolls?" Mark offered knowing she wouldn't just let it go. "I'm gonna make you so fat on cinnamon rolls!" She exclaimed with a laugh, pulling away from Mark. "I'm okay with that." Mark laughed happy that she would finally accept that he's forgiven her.
