Now you really start to question what you know. A sharp ringing in your ears has your head spinning. The man in front of you was forever stuck in you mind, engraved in you, a part of you no matter what. A fraction of a name finally comes to your mind as you stand in the darkness, this void, staring at the man with his hands folded behind him.
His head tilts to the side ever so slightly. “Perhaps I’m the crazy one.” You blink hard, flashes of a life you didn’t live were behind your closed eyes. “Perhaps we’ve met a hundred times already and you simply don’t remember it.” He starts walking, drawing your eyes as you work to putting together the name burning in your mind. “Perhaps, you’re tired of me repeating myself over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and OVER AGAIN.” He shouts at the end, his form splitting into copies of himself before he stands as one once more.
“D-” You stop yourself, eyeing up the table no in front of the two of you, a single glass sits on it. The man stands tall once more, watching as you struggle with a battle in your mind. You knew him, you are sure of it. You just can’t place him, but a name, you knew a name. “Damien.” You whisper, watching him almost flinch, fazing in and out for a moment. Why do I know that name?
He’s frozen for a moment, almost like he’s looking at a ghost. “It doesn’t matter.” He shakes his head, this aura around him dipping into a blue more than a red. “People like you only want one thing.” A copy breaks off, screaming behind him and making you jump. “And it’s disgusting. You want answers.” He picks up the drink and you find yourself jumping when a gunshot echoes in your mind, drawing to a curious look on his face. “Games were always his forte. But allow me this one moment of self-indulgence.”
You place your hand on your head, unable to hold back what’s going on anymore. Damien, the name echoed over and over in your head. You remembered him, you think at least. A smile came to your mind, that night at poker. You stuck by his side, Damien’s side even after the death of a man. The death of Mark. You couldn’t make sense of it, your Mark was alive but the man coming to life in your memory was the same person. “Damien.” You mutter once more, recalling the man. You close your eyes once more and you aren’t in the same room anymore.
The man from the hallway, the one with the mustache was so close to you. He looks around frantically, watching a man walk away from him. “Where’s Celine? Where’s Damien!?” His eyes lock right on you and your whole being burns with recognition. Will, a name came to mind. “I will not let my friends die in this Godforsaken house.” The detective was the next one. Abe. “And if you all are too much of a coward to do the same, you had best leave before I kill you myself.”
The man watches as you place your hand now over your chest, where you were shot. “Y/n?” He questions, his body fazing again as he drew closer to you. “Y/n? Are you alright?” He takes another step forward.
You were shot. Right in the chest by him, by Will. You fell from the second story over the banister of the staircase. “It was an accident.” You had died and he - Mark - had brought you back for another game. A do-over with his own story.
You open your eyes, looking at the man. “Damien.” This time you were confident with what you were saying. “He-he shot me.” Your hands shake as you look at him. “I-I was dead. I died I-” Damien had no hesitation with pulling you to him. “You’re not real. You can’t be. You and Celine you-”
He shushes you, running a hand up and down your back. “Shh Y/n it’s okay. We’ve got you. We’re gonna help you. It’s all Mark’s fault. He’s never gonna hurt you, never again.” He promises. They both promise you and for the first time in a while, you felt safe with your memories, for the first time, you didn’t jump at the gunshot.
Captain Magnum stands tall at the helm of his ship as they pull in to dock. “Arcadia you say.” He leans to the side, speaking to his first mate. They nod, looking down at the map in their hands. “Lads and Ladies.” He eyes up some of his female crew mates. “We be making port and stock up, we leave at night fall.” He explains, getting nods of agreement from his crew.
They dock and in a flash the crew was off, taking in the new place that they had made dock. Magnum and his first mate are the last to leave the ship, making their way in to the town. No one dared to stare at the tall pirate captain as he strides to the market place. Today wasn’t an overly busy day so it was easy for him to navigate through.
For you though? A slow day is never good for business. You stand behind the counter of your stall, taking note of stock after you sent out an order of apples to a kind old lady. To say you were intrigued by the tall captain was an understatement. You could see him from across the market place, laughing with another pirate who you could guess to be his first mate.
Soon enough the pair came to your stall as you clean off the counter top. “Afternoon lass.” The taller one asks, no doubt a captain from his attire. You look up and flash him a smile that has his heart melting a bit. “I be Captain Magnum, this is me first mate.” He gestures to the pirate beside him.
You nod, laying the rag over your shoulder. “Afternoon, I’m Y/n.” You greet, tilting your head to the side. “Can I interest you in anything? Ship restock perhaps?” You gesture around to the goods you have shelved and on display. Different fruits were in baskets, jars of jam and spices were on shelves, and a table holds different baked goods you had made yourself.
The first mate wastes no time in taking a look at the goods, making Magnum roll his eyes a bit. He himself takes a moment to look you over before offering you a smile and making an order for the ship. It was right there that he was hooked on you. Everything about you had him curious, had him under a spell. He made the decision as he and his first mate walked away that he was going to see you again.
5 Months
Every month or so the ship comes in and makes port at the town to stock up. Every time he’s made sure to go and see you at your stall in the market place. “I’m starting to think that you’re just here for the sweets.” You laugh a bit as he pays for one of your sweetest pastries. It was a bit of a secret that he had a rather big sweet tooth. Any chance like this was one he was willing to take to get his hands on sweets.
Captain Magnum smiles, shaking his head. “That’s part of it lass.” He didn’t want to admit how smitten with you he is. He can’t find himself telling you how in the past few months that he hasn’t been in town he’s been thinking about you. You were just so sweet you were almost unreal to him.
You gasp, catching his attention from his thoughts. “I got you something before you head back to the ship.” You insist, disappearing behind the counter for a moment. Captain Magnum tilts his head in curiosity as you appear again, setting a basket on the counter top. “It’s not much but I thought you’d like it, took a while to make but.” You trail off, watching him look at the assortment of baked goods in the basket.
He smiles, meeting your eyes. “I don’t know what to say. Thank you.” You brush it off, turning so he can’t see the red tint that over comes your face. “I’ll see you next time Y/n.”
When you turn back he’s already off and heading back to the ship. “Bye Captain.” You smile, watching him disappear.
That same night out on the sea, Captain Magnum sits in his cabin, looking through the basket sitting on his table. A single bottle sits at the bottom of the basket, a note rolled up in side. How cliche, he thought with a smile. Opening the bottle he slip the paper out of the bottle.
Dearest Captain Magnum,
I look forward to your next visit, I must admit that in the short time that I’ve come to know you I count the days. Next time you come why don’t we get a drink? I think it would be quite nice what about you?
With love Y/n
13 Months
The crew’s tired of it already, tired of his mood, of his attitude. They’re tired of being lost on adventures. So what better to do than sacrifice the first mate to get him to man up. “Yes?” Captain Magnum calls out when a knock comes to his cabin door. “Enter.” The doors opens and in steps his first mate, swatting the hand of another crew mate who pushed him in. “What is it?” Magnum questions form his table where he writes a letter to Y/n.
The first mate takes in a deep breath, striding over to the table. “Captain.” He starts, straightening up. “The crew and I think you need to stop at Arcadia for a few days.” He says confidently, making the Captain raise an eyebrow to him. “You’re a mess captain, you need that woman.”
Captain Magnum leans back in his chair, running a hand over his beard. “Mayhaps you’re right.” He smiles at the thought of spending more than a day with you. Come day break and they make doc at the town. He was at your stall long before you were even out there.
You give him a smile though you were utterly confused by his presence. “I didn’t think you were coming back yet.” You admit, crossing your arms. Captain Magnum chuckles, adjusting his hat nervously.
“Me crew brought up some news to me and I thought I should act on it. Hows about we go get a drink las?”
You smile, looking him in the eye before nodding. “A drink sounds nice.”

Your mind is something you would compare to a pinwheel. One moment it’s going like a thousand miles per hour and the next it’s not moving at all. That was your problem, the one problem that you’ve been living with your whole life. You couldn’t seem to focus much as a kid and that never seemed to leave you like you hoped it would. One thing that you hated was being overwhelmed by it.
Living where you currently live though wasn’t helping you out in the slightest. Every other day there always seemed to be something new. There was always a new argument, a new tantrum, a change in the scenery. It was those times where you couldn’t seem to get anything, to function just right. You never blamed them for it, it was just how they are and there was no changing them.
So you had to find some way to work around it, that’s what drew you to Host. The calm and collected narrator with supernatural powers. No matter what was going on in the rest of the house his room was always quiet. The first time you had an episode of shutting down was while Dark and Wilford were going at it again and nearly tore the house down.
Host was the one to approach you when you were sitting in the hallway with your hands over your ears and your eyes closed. He had no problem with taking you to his room and helping you out of this state that you were in and all he had to do was just talk to you.
So that’s where you were currently walking, rubbing your temples as you go. In the main room of the house was practically a rave when Dark wasn’t home to stop them from being crazy. A small groan leaves you when you reach his room, knocking on his door. You can’t even find your voice your mind’s running a million miles per hour.
The door opens after a moment and instantly a calming sensation takes over you as you glance up at Host. A small smile is on his face for a moment as he tilts his head. “The Host suspects that Y/n is here do to the chaos that’s happening in the mansion.” He states, moving back to let you in the room. “The Host’s room is always open to you.”
You walk into the room and plop yourself down on the cushioned chair in his room. Host closes the door and goes back to the work he was doing at his desk. Just as you lean your head back on the couch Host starts talking into the mic, his calming voice filling the room and the rest of the day you spent like that, in the chair, listening to Host talk while the rest of the house was filled with chaos.

If there was one thing in the world that you hate more than anything it’s Secret Santa. The idea was whipped up by Wilford himself after he watched some old Christmas movie. Granted you were there when he watched it, most of the mansion was as it was made the official movie night every Saturday night. Once more that was Wilford's idea only that was under the influence of the Jims who never dared to step up.
From a hat, everyone in the mansion drew names. Since then you spent two days just staring at the name on your little slip of paper, utterly stumped on what you wanted to do. “Dark” was written out in some kind of hybrid of cursive and print that was clearly Wilford’s knockoff version of Dark’s handwriting. What the Hell do you get someone who can literally have anything they want at the snap of their fingers?
You finally decided that you were going to need help and someone who would listen to you vent. “God, I hate doing secret Santa.” You complained about your problems behind closed doors to Google, who couldn’t really give you any advice but he was always willing to listen. You could never say that in front of Wilford, it would break his heart. So you just had to suck it up.
It wasn’t that you didn’t know Dark well enough to know what he likes. You were practically his only friend that he let in. Not to mention that you had a crush on him that Wilford insists shows more than you think it does. Dark’s not the kind of person to go out and say that he would love to have something. Your mood drop from your failure of knowing your best friend didn’t go unnoticed by anyone, let alone by Dark.
You huff, kicking your feet up on the arm of the couch in Dark’s office. He glances up from his computer, dark eyes dragging along your figure as you throw an arm over your eyes. This action was not foreign for him to see out of you, but it always had him wondering what was going on every time. He was left unaware that he was the indirect cause of the frustration that was radiating off of you.
Dark’s attention falls back to his work on the computer. “Want to talk about it?” All that comes from you is a groan. “Or we can just dwell in it.” He offers, smiling a little bit as he glances back over at you. When you don’t move he sighs, standing up and leaving his work behind and walking over to where you’re laying on the couch. “Move.” He taps your shoulder, getting you to sit up and for him to sit down. Before you can move to a better position, Dark gently pulls you back down so that you’re laying on his lap.
You look up at Dark, raising an eyebrow to him. “What are you doing?” You question him, a smile tugging at your lips as he looks down at you. “Don’t you have work to do?” Dark let out a deep breath, now gently running a hand through your hair. Your eyes fall closed at the calming motion.
Dark doesn’t stop running his hand through your hair. “Work can wait. Tell me what’s wrong darling.” He insists, getting you to open your eyes. “You’re much more important than what I’m working on.” You almost laugh, recalling a time when there was no way that Dark was going to stop work for anyone, even when you first showed up.
Sighing, you open your eyes. “It’s my person for secret Santa.” Dark let out a groan that has you laughing. It was clear on his take of everything. "Wow, I had no idea the Grinch was a real person." Dark shoots you a glare, poking your stomach and getting you to laugh.
“Shut up. Who do you have? I can help you.” Had your person been anyone else you would have said yes. Then again maybe you wouldn’t be here if you had someone who wasn’t him.
You shake your head. “We’re not allowed to tell anyone who we got, that means you Dark.” He rolls his eyes. “I have no idea what to get them.” You huff, not daring to drop any names.
Dark’s quiet for a moment. “I’m sure whatever you get they’ll love. It’s from you after all.” Your face heats up, no doubt looking to be red with blush. “Just get something nice that you know they’ll love.” You nod, closing your eyes again, hands folded on your stomach as a silence settles over the two of you. You knew what to get Dark for Christmas.
-><-
Christmas Eve rolls around soon enough and almost everyone was excited about it. Almost everyone being everyone but Dark as he’s opted to stay in his room while everyone was partying. You had really hoped that you would get to see him before Wilford brought out the alcohol, but that never happened. You slip away from the party, making your way upstairs and to Dark’s room.
You knock on the door, smiling at the music that’s playing downstairs, they were jamming out way too hard. “Dark? You awake?” Just as you go to knock again, the door opens to show Dark, still dressed up, though now he’s sporting a white suit that you had him get for the Christmas party. “Hey.” You smile as he lets you into the room.
Dark closes the door, looking at you curiously. “Why aren’t you downstairs with the others? You helped make the party.” That was true as the party was your idea and fueled by the Jims enthusiasm about the idea.
You shrug, hugging yourself as you look around before meeting Dark’s eyes. "You can't be alone on Christmas Eve." You finally say, watching his gaze on you soften. You look to the floor, your face heating up again. “So I’m here. Plus Wil’s bringing out the “real drinks” as he said.” Dark shakes his head with a smile. “And I wanted to give you your gift early.”
A look crosses Dark’s face, everything was starting to click in his head. “You’re my Santa?” You nod, laughing when he pushes his hair out of his face.
“You’re hard to buy for. So I didn’t.” Dark tilts his head to the side. “I mean nothing expensive or anything, but it was like 3 dollars.” You pull out a small box from your pajama pants pocket. Walking to him, you hand Dark with box, smiling as he opens it.
More confusion hits him as he stares down. “Mistletoe?” He gently picks up the plant. “It’s cute.” He eyes up the plant, smiling a bit.
“That’s not it.” You hesitate before taking a step forward and standing under the held up plant. Once more, your actions click in Dark’s head. “Is it stupid? It is isn’t it? I knew I should have asked-”
Dark presses a kiss to your lips, cutting you off. You’re shocked for a second before you melt into the kiss, wrapping your arms around his neck, a smile on both of your faces as you kiss. After a moment you pull back, looking into Dark’s eyes. “I love it, and you. I love you Y/n.” He says, gently cupping your face in his hand. “Thank you Y/n. I wouldn’t ask for anything else.” He presses another kiss to your lips

If there was one thing that was going to get on Host’s nerves it was going to have to be Wilford Warfstache. Much like everyone else who had a problem with the pink mustached TV host, Host found him annoying. Annoying in the way that he acted, how he craved for endless thrills, how he befriended you so easily. The moment that you were in the mansion the two of you seemed to click and at first, it didn’t bother The Host.
It wasn’t until you started dating Host that it really started to get to him. While the assurance that you wanted him and only him was always on his mind he couldn’t help the feeling when he “saw” you laughing at something that Wil had said a moment prior. He didn’t notice he started walking until he was right in front of the two of you.
He could sense the smile that came to your face when you saw him, radiating happiness at the sight of your lover. “Hey, Host!” You press a kiss to his cheek, making him smile. “Wil and I were just arguing about Christmas.” You huff, no doubt shooting a glare at the pastel man. Something he loved about you, you weren’t scared when it came to anyone in the house. Unless it was Dark on one of his “episodes”.
Wil raises his hands in defense. “What?” Came out in his slurred speech. “Whiskey is a perfectly acceptable alternative to turkey.” He goes on, making Host shake his head as you turn and scold the man who was trying to talk you into changing your dinner plans.
“It’s not! And there’s no changing it, Christmas is in a week and I’ve got everything on lock. You can bitch about it all you want Wil but it’s not happening.” The man huffs, turning away from the two of you and walking off.
You sigh, turning to the Host, who was nod deep in the shock that Christmas was that close. He didn’t even know it was December yet, it was like yesterday when you started to decorate with Wilford and the Jims. An idea forms in Host’s head, making him turn away from you for a moment, looking off to where Wilford had gone down the hall.
You poke his shoulder, getting him to turn back to you. “You okay? You seem far.” Host smiles again, taking your face in his hands and pressing a kiss to your lips then your forehead.
“The Host is okay, Host just has a few things to do. The Host will find Y/n later?” You couldn’t help but giggle when he talks to you, it always made you smile. You nod, telling him that you’d see him later and head towards the kitchen. Host, on the other hand, heads straight to Wilford’s room.
-><-
“Host does not think Y/n would want that for Christmas.” Host confesses, tilting his head to the side. He was currently sat down on Wilford’s bed. Wilford himself was parading around the tornado of a room, listing off things that you’d mentioned wanting all year.
Host had picked up on most of it too, keeping hold of everything that you’d said. Once more though, Host found himself hating Wilford’s friendship with you. Everything he spoke about made it seem that he knew you more than the Host did. “Oh come on my friend.” He stops walking, staring at the blind man. “Everyone wants a tiger. And I know a guy-”
“Wilford has suddenly lost his voice.” Host smiles as the room fills with silence, though he can sense that Wil is cursing him out through the puffs of air that came from him. “Host will not get Y/n a gift that puts them in danger. Maybe Wil should remember that as he has now found his voice.”
“-And furthermore, fuck you, you crazy ass-oh hey.” Wil sighs when Host drops his head in his hands. “I’m trying to help you, my friend. I really am.” Wilford insists, sitting down next to him. “But it’s hard when you’re. . .you.” Host tilts his head, covered eyes facing the man who was genuinely trying to help him in his time of need. They sit still for a moment before Wilford shoots up, filled with excitement again. “What about this!” Wil leans forward so that he’s face to face with the bloody eyed man.
-><-
Host had to admit, Wilford had a good idea when it came to getting things. Even if it took two hours of listing and arguing he didn’t care. Host just wanted you to be happy. So on Christmas Day, you and the rest of the residents of the mansion were in the main room. It was rare to see everyone together unless it was for a meeting, but it made you happy.
You were sitting on Host’s lap, trying to not laugh at the outfit that Wilford was wearing as he sat down beside the two of you. “Host would like to give his gift first.” The Host announces and with no argument, he stands up, setting you down on the couch. “The Host was not sure what to get Y/n for Christmas. So Host sought out guidance from Wilford.” You glance at the man beside you, who hadn’t stopped smiling since he walked into the room.
A large box was placed on your lap. Hesitation filled you at the thought of this being an idea by Wilford. Though deep down you knew it was nothing too bad, it was Wil and he sometimes made mess-ups. But this was from Host, who would never hurt you.
“And so, after a long conversation and persuading of Dark. The Host got Y/n’s present.” You open the box, looking inside to find a puppy, staring up at you with wide eyes.
You, of course, weren’t the only one who was shocked to see the animal that was given to you. “Ahhh! You’re just as cute as when I saw you!” Wilford leaned over, looking down at the small animal that tried to break free from the cardboard.
You look up at Host, who just smiles, head tilted like always. “Thank you!” You set the box aside, laughing when Wilford doesn’t hesitate to pet the pup. “I love you.” You whisper to him, pressing a kiss to his lips as the rest of the group starts to exchange gifts.

When you got the call about Yancy’s parole you were ecstatic. Your Yancy was finally able to come home under your supervision and a few cautions, of course, but it was still him. Every Sunday you were there for him, the love of your life who promised you the broken world that was outside the prison he was in. Today, on the third Sunday he was being let out, let out to you.
You stand in front of the prison beside your car, watching the doors eagerly. Your heart stops for a moment when they do open, two officers lead Yancy out of the prison. He smiles when he sees you, eyes lighting up at the fact that you were there to get him. No one says anything until they reach you at your car.
“Y/n?” One of the officers asks and you nod, showing your ID to confirm who you were. “Be careful with this one.” He eyes Yancy before the pair leave and walk back into the prison.
The doors close and it’s just you and Yancy in silence for a moment before you fully look at him. “Hey, Yanc.” You smile, unable to contain yourself as you reach your arms out to him. He doesn’t hesitate to hug you, holding you close to him with all of his might, lips pressed against your head.
He pulls back a bit, hands still on your waist. “Hey yous.” He laughs a bit, unable to really grasp onto the concept that you’re there with him, outside the prison walls. Yancy leans down, pressing a quick kiss to your lips. “Let’s go home, yeah?” You nod, pulling away from him and opening the door to the car. Yancy gets in the passenger seat and you drive the two of you home. To your home.
-><-
You got the two of you home just in the nick of time. The moment that you parked December started to show off its true colours in the form of clouds that allow for snow to fall. Yancy was so in love with the look on your face when the two of you got out of the car. “Yancy it’s snowing!” You spun around in the light flurry before fully facing the Ohian with a smile.
A few flakes got stuck in your hair, soon enough melting into your h/c hair. To Yancy you looked like an angel, smiling like an idiot as you held your arms out. Yancy nods, pressing a kiss to your lips. “Hows about wes get inside huh?” He shivers a bit, making you laugh before you agree.
Yancy wasn’t too surprised when you two walked in to see the house decorated for the Christmas season. From the last time you’d gone to see him you remember talking to him about how excited you were to deck out the house. And deck out is exactly what you did. What got him, even more, was the banner that you had hung up above the doorway to the kitchen. “Welcome home Yancy!” Was written in marker, making him smile.
You stand anxiously to the side, worried about what he was thinking about the banner you’d made for him. “So? What do you think?” You rub your arm, looking at him as he turns to look at you. “You like it?” He nods, looking back at the banner.
“I do, I do. But could it have less antlers?”
You gasp, hitting his shoulder. “No no, the antlers are essential!” You insist, leaning your head on his shoulder as you look at the banner.
“Yous did good. I loves it.” He kisses the top of your head.
-><-
A week passes since you picked up Yancy from the prison. In that week the two of you have adapted to the life that you were now going to be living for the rest of your life. Now was one of those times, Christmas day, cuddled up on the couch with hot chocolate on the table. “I love you.” You press a kiss against the tattoo on his neck.
The arm around you tightens a bit as he kisses your forehead. “I love yous too.” Everything in his life was perfect, as perfect as can be. A smile pulls at his face as he looks down at you, snuggled into his side. “Want to roast some chestnuts?” You look up at him and smile.
“Over an open fire?” He smiles nodding and you laugh.

In hindsight, you should have known better. You did know better you had been told better multiple times. In the house, there was one rule that you knew and it was to not make Dark mad. The man run by two souls was capable of bending reality to his desires and that was what they warned you about. His own girlfriend had warned you about the temper on him if one poked hard enough.
Every time he was mad you learned to steer clear, most of the time it was brought on because of Wilfrod’s own shenanigans. Which the whole house knew to leave the edge lord alone when he started brooding. Luna was normally there to calm him down from these little “episodes” of his. They got him so riled up the one day that the whole mansion shook with his rage. It took both Luna and The Host to calm him down.
Unfortunately, Luna wasn’t in today, out with Wilford helping with this new set he’s got. So when you goofed and got him mad enough to snap at you you knew you were in the wrong. You were on your toes the rest of the day as everyone avoided you and Dark like the plague. If Dark thought anyone was associated with you and what had ticked him off they were as good as dead too.
So when no one spoke to you, looked at you, or even stayed in the same room as you, you were a bit lonely. Isolation was never something that you took well and even worse when it was the people who you share a house with. Soon enough though, you found yourself right in front of your best friend’s door. Muffled chatter could be heard inside and had it been anyone else you would have left it alone.
But this was your friend, this was The Host that you were going to see. While he was one of the most powerful people in the mansion he had his. . .quirks. Some of which people like Wilford loved to pick on and some that had people fearing him. You didn’t fear him though, you welcomed the calming company of the blind man. Much like Dark, he could bend reality at the seems.
Lifting your hand, you knock on the door. “Host?” You call out, looking from the door to your feet as the chatter in the room fell quiet. You didn’t even hear him walk up to the door until it was opened.
The blind man tilts his head, facing right at you. “The Host suspects that Y/n is not here just to see him.” You hang your head a bit more. Maybe it was a bit wrong to want to hide behind him like a scared child but you could always count on him at the end of the day. He tilts his head the other way. “You have angered Dark.” He states and you nod.
A sigh comes from him before he moves aside and lets you enter his darkroom. “It was an accident. Everyone’s avoiding me like I killed someone and I didn’t know who to go to until Dark calms down.” The Host closes the door, his hand now resting on your shoulder.
“The host understands, he is sure that Dark will get over it soon enough. Until then, Y/n is welcome to stay here.” He takes his spot back behind the desk and in front of the computer. You shift where you stand in the middle of the room for a moment. “The Host insists that Y/n sits down. It may be a while before Dark calms down.”
You sigh, nodding as you walk over and pull up a chair beside your best friend. “Thanks, Host.” You smile, pressing a kiss to his cheek. You swear that his face goes red for a second (and not just because of the blood).
“It’s no problem. The Host is always willing to help Y/n. No matter what.”
