I probably should post a better picture of Maksha for her first appearance on this blog, but. it’s fine. shh
Snippet of dialogue between Bokat and his much-less-friendly fiancee, Maksha Hyalshâsot, regarding Liza. Bokat mostly lets Maksha run him over - not because he’s not capable of standing up for himself, but because this is an arranged marriage and they both know they don’t get along and it’s not worth the trouble - but when it comes to his little sister, Bokat is way too protective to let Maksha casually threaten her. (Maksha is somewhat surprised he stands up for her, but by this point in the conversation she’s gotten over that initial surprise.)
Maksha has an..... interesting way of looking at the world. She sees the entirety of life as a sort of game - one with complex rules and grave stakes, but a game nonetheless, where there are winners and losers and that’s all there is to it. And she intends to be a winner, no matter how much manipulation and damage she has to do to achieve that. Her own survival comes first.
(Image Description: two characters, Bokat and Maksha, interacting in conversation, cropped from the shoulders up. Bokat stands mostly facing the camera, looking to his left (our right) - a Sith pureblood man with the sides of his head shaved and three thick braids down the middle to fall down his back, with a scar running up the right side of his face. He glares at Maksha, a Sith pureblood woman smiling smugly at him in profile, with long cheek tendrils, a single braid falling down her back, and jewelry embedded along her cheekbones below her eyes. Bokat growls, “She’s not a pawn for your games.” Maksha replies, “Isn’t she? Aren’t we all pawns in each other’s games?” End ID.)
MAKSHA!!! She likes stealing wallets and long walks on the beach
merry christmas (eve) Sae and Jam. :)
Maksha gets her hand chopped off so she has a blacksmith craft a golden replacement with rubies for nails
Maksha used to be a famous pickpocket in Elsweyr (trained by her dads to be a world-class scumbag), but had her OWN pockets picked by some random street urchin. She fled Elsweyr to escape the irony and never returned
Wait, so how does Frande get Thunder, or Thunder get Frande??
He actually steals Thunder from Maksha :D Oddly enough Thunder went willingly and likes Frande way more than he likes Maksha, and to this day she still likes to sulk over her wounded pride
