3 Smokey Makeup Looks Using the Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette
Today I’m creating three different smokey eye looks using just one palette, the Too Faced Chocolate Bar. I tried to ensure that each look uses a different placement of shadow, not just using different shades, to show you just how much variety you can get out of an eyeshadow palette. I’ll be making another video very soon creating three natural looks with the palette very soon so make sure you’re…

Clear Skin Foundation Makeup Routine
I have been battling with acne for ages, and recently I just get tired exerting so much effort and making a fuss about it all the time. I just stick to simple daily skin care and get daily dose of my omega 3 vitamins and which somehow decently controlled my breakouts. Instead of getting frustrated, I realized this thing is a blessing in disguise as this is the main reason why I learned a lot of things about makeup. If you’re like me who has been battling against acne, a good foundation and concealer makeup routine would play a big role in your daily life. Hope this tutorial will somehow help you to temporarily achieve clear looking skin.
Before putting foundation, prepare skin by applying moisturizer first to a clean face. A pea size is good enough for the whole face, you can add up more to include the neck. A well moisturize face will serve as a smooth canvas for makeup application. Wait for 10 minutes for the skin to absorb the moisturizer and you’re ready to apply the foundation
1. Using foundation of your choice, apply it to problem areas. On my part it is on the side of my cheeks, chin and forehead. I wanted to have a good coverage on that blemished area and leaving the healthy skin with less foundation on. As much as possible I still wanted my face to look natural and not heavily makeup.
2. Using a buffing brush I lightly blend the foundation in circular motion on the problem part and drag the remaining foundation clear area of skin. The circular motion technique is good on when you have large pores as it really covers your pores and make it less noticeable.
3. Don’t forget to apply foundation on your neck as well.
4. With the foundation on, you can now see which areas on face needs more coverage. Using a heavy duty concealer (I’m using Hard Candy Glamoflauge Heavy Duty Concealer in medium); I lightly dot the product using concealer brush on the blemish.
5. Once all the blemishes were concealer dotted, I blend it by gently dabbing the brush on the edges of the dots.
6. Wait for about 5-10 minutes to set the foundation and concealer on your skin.
7. Apply finishing powder, this could be translucent loose powder or just like mine a foundation powder for added coverage. You can either use a sponge or kabuki brush. Lightly dab the brush to the skin so that you will not remove the concealer that you have put on earlier.
8. Viola! Now you have perfect skin. For even more makeup staying power, you can use a makeup setting spray such as Model in a Bottle or Skindinavia. Spray this after you’re done applying all your makeup and it will last for 6-8 hours.
Hope this tutorial helps

PS. Don’t forget to put concealer under your eyes, on the side of your nose and the corners of mouth. If you will notice, I blended my under eye concealer differently by dragging some concealer straightly down to the side of my nose and also extending it right up to my temples.
