ignore my hair going a bit nuts, my fan is on its fucking boiling
Also im really unphotogenic and iphone camera makes me look like doggie doo doo anyways please notice me i crave attention 😚✌️
also btw i am a CHILD, im 16 so watch ur dirty talk
Throughout my finals week I thought of her
I've been hyperfocussing on makeup the last ?? week?? & I have so much to SAY & I'm so salty about youtube influencers being like "makeup on a budget :) products under $10 :))" but then they use 20 fucking products (not counting brushes & beauty blenders & eyelash curlers etc) so it's like?????? please I'm broke what are u talking about
in the end I did find some helpful tips about repurposing products & getting by w less & using things how they're not supposed to go and.
I just did a full face of makeup with four entire products. it's a pretty subtle, more natural look (NOT what I usually go for lmao) but it worked surprisingly well!! camera refused to take any decent pics but whatever.
concealer, lipstick, brown mascara, translucent setting powder.
if that last one doesn't come w one of those applicator cushion thingies, u might also need a brush bc idk how well powder applies w fingers?? the rest works fine w fingers.
I put on concealer, then used it as foundation by patting it on very lightly (some say mix it w moisturiser; see what works for u & the products you have! my concealer is liquidy). Also primed my eyelids w it. lipstick as blush. brown mascara works really well for my brows (this depends on ur brow colour ofc) & I also used it as contour by smearing it on the back of my hand & mixing with concealer & some moisturiser bc it was dried out lol. set w powder.
I lightly patted lipstick on the outer half of my eyelids (didn't want to look like hayfever struck) & set w powder before it could run all over my crease. the trick seems to be a light hand & patting it in w your finger; don't just run the lipstick across your lids. I also added some dimension to the outer corners w the mascara, but this was trickier bc it was so dry.
then I used mascara & lipstick the way they're meant to lol & the result was really nice? using the same colour as blush, eyeshadow & lipstick gives a beautiful, cohesive look.
anyway if you too have a wish-we-could-afford-shoestrings type of budget, maybe this gives u a place to start! obligatory disclaimer that nobody should feel obligated to wear makeup. I just think it's fun & also gender
I cannot believe I don't hear more about Miss A makeup. I've had some ladies ask me about wanting to try new makeup on a budget. Istg this site will save you. If you're never tried a cream highlighter for example and just want to test it out, I would suggest going here instead of shelling out 50 bucks for a product formulation that might not even be your thing!
I really love their AOA Studio line for daily looks. I will probably do some reviews on that stuff later.

So I applied my own makeup for the first time this week and I wanted to share my experience for anyone else who’s like me and has never worn makeup before and maybe wants to start. Idk.
I bought a bunch of the cheapest stuff I could find at Kmart knowing it wouldn’t be the best quality but that’s okay (it’s also not that bad though)! Because I just wanted to play around for a video and see if it’s something I wanted to eventually get better at and invest more in (cause oh boy makeup is so expensive). So the tip there is buy some super cheap stuff to learn. It’s been so much fun and I wouldn’t be as willing to play around with it if it was expensive stuff.
The foundation was way too orange for my skin (can’t really tell with the editing lol). There’s no such thing as the perfect foundation shade but a general rule I’ve learned is to go lighter (just ordered a new shade that’s much lighter and should work way better for me).
I followed a YouTube tutorial by a beautiful woman named Sazan. There are so. Many. Tutorials on YouTube by talented people who are super good at explaining and showing how to do everything step by step. Go find some tutorials for what you wanna do.
Use a damp beauty blender.
Use a double cleanse system when you wash your makeup off to make sure you’re actually cleaning your face but do not use makeup wipes! Be gentle with your beautiful little face my loves.
And that’s all from my amateur self! I hope you’re all doing well and that this was maybe interested idk bye.
showing off my faaavorite item from @elfcosmetics, the bestfriend eyeshadow duo in the shade peach squad!🍑✨ obsessed! these shadows are beautifully pigmented and blend like a dream, buildable and silky smooth. this duo serves a gorgeous everyday soft glam, it’s subtle and simple with high impact. It’s very easy to apply, perfect for beginners and great for when you’re rushing out the door, a MUST HAVE for boss babes on the go. this dynamic duo comes in a portable compact small enough to comfortably and discretely carry in your purse, even though you won’t need to touch up because it’s long wearing and will not crease over an eyeshadow primer.
Shop Miss A makeup for beginners
I’m a recent beginner when it comes to makeup and a lot of beginner lists are really long and add up to over a hundred dollars. Here’s the list of things I’ve actually used in the first few months, all of which you can get on Shop Miss A for a dollar, and all of which work just fine. Why would you use super expensive products when you’re still learning how to use them?
1. e.l.f. brightening eyeliner (coffee) OR Amuse fine liquid liner (you can get one or both, depending on what kind of liner you want)
2. Amuse pro matte eyebrow pencil (you can get a different sort of eyebrow product if you like, but these are super easy to use and great for beginners)
3. AOA lumi blush (you can totally skip blush if it’s not for you. Additionally, pick the best color for you. For me, it’s the delicate pink)
4. AOA perfect eye primer - glow (prime your eyes. it’s worth it)
5. AOA perfect settting powder - matte translucent (setting powder is good for a bunch of things. it’ll keep your makeup from moving or ‘melting’ over the course of the day, and if you’re prone to oily skin it’ll keep you from getting shiny)
6. AOA wonder skin - illuminating primer
7. Celavi pencil liner (Get this in silver, milk, or cloudy. It’s for using on your waterline and will make you eyes look bigger. It’s up to you which shade you wanna choose, but keep your eye color in mind when you do. Generally, green/hazel eyes look good with silver, dark eyes look good with milk, and blue/grey eyes look good with cloudy)
8. L.A. colors mascara - black (any old mascara will do, but get it in black. The website has a bunch to choose from)
9. AOA perfect BB cream (Generally, a BB cream is the best foundation for beginners. Pick your own color, obviously)
10. Santee matte liquid lipstick - nudes (Nudes are perfect for an everyday look, and I happen to prefer liquid lipsticks)
11. Zuri shaping and strobing contouring kit (This is a great little palette for beginners. works for most skin tones)
12. AOA perfect pressed highlighter - heiress (Totally optional. the Zuri palette comes with highlighter, but I like to go for that really dazzling white shade)
13. E117 - small eyeliner brush
14. F13 - blush brush (if you don’t wear blush, skip this one)
15. F14 - angled contour brush
16. F16 - precise concealer brush
17. Stella Fiesta short handle face powder brush
18. AOA wonder blender
19. Toss in a lotion, some makeup wipes, and a brush cleaner for a dollar each (all can be found on the shop miss a website)
And that’s it! A full face of makeup. Keep in mind that several of these products are optional, but even if you do buy them all it’s $21.00 + $3.95 shipping for an order total of $24.95. A comparable beginner’s list can be found here for a grand total of $444.00. Now, keep in mind, these are name brand products, but you really don’t need those, especially as a beginner.
Fuck whoever told you that you need to spend lots of money on your face, and do you some beautiful makeup!
