I’ve really tried to warm to Mal but I’ve just reached the half-way point of this sequel and he continues to be such an immature, insecure and possessive love interest. The part where Alina has to choose her own colour for her kefta and him piping up nO BLaCK...the part where everyone is trying to prevent him from being HUNG for deserting his post and this man has the audacity to be cheeky to the king and get himself dishonourably discharged and then act upset about it...I’m over it. If this man gets kidnapped or killed off I will not be upset
