But cursed be the deceiver, which hath in his flock a male, and voweth, and sacrificeth unto the Lord a corrupt thing: for I am a great King, saith the LORD of hosts, and my name is dreadful among the heathen.

Asher didn’t get hang overs. The result of 24 years of living under the watchful and controlling of of Julia Jones, he knew better than to let himself lose control enough to make himself sick the following morning. So the feeling of being disoriented, dizzy, hazy, was more than a little off putting. The ambrosia really had done a number on him. The son of Apollo descended the the staircase of Mageia house almost gingerly, as if any sudden movements would be the end of him. He was bundled up in typical urban winterwear with sunglasses glued to his face to black out as much of his own damn element from his eyes as he could. Truthfully, this wasn’t the best start to Asher’s budding relationship with sun and light. Right now, what he needed was fresh air, and hopefully a chance to get his bearings, to get the lay of the land. So when he spotted the tall drink of water walk past who at least looked like he had a better grasp on things than he did, it didn’t take him long to call out. “Hey Captain America,” he called out, managing a surprisingly genuine smirk. “Where are you headed right now?”

Good morning 🇹🇿🇬🇧🌏#Cupoftea☕️ 1 The burden of the word of the LORD to Israel by Malachi. 2 “I have loved you,” says the LORD. “Yet you say, ‘In what way have You loved us?’ Was not Esau Jacob’s brother?” Says the LORD. “Yet Jacob I have loved; 3 But Esau I have hated, And laid waste his mountains and his heritage For the jackals of the wilderness.” 4 Even though Edom has said, “We have been impoverished, But we will return and build the desolate places,” Thus says the LORD of hosts: “They may build, but I will throw down; They shall be called the Territory of Wickedness, And the people against whom the LORD will have indignation forever. 5 Your eyes shall see, And you shall say, ‘The LORD is magnified beyond the border of Israel.’ 6 “A son honors his father, And a servant his master. If then I am the Father, Where is My honor? And if I am a Master, Where is My reverence? Says the LORD of hosts To you priests who despise My name. Yet you say, ‘In what way have we despised Your name?’ 7 “You offer defiled food on My altar, But say, ‘In what way have we defiled You?’ By saying, ‘The table of the LORD is contemptible.’ 8 And when you offer the blind as a sacrifice, Is it not evil? And when you offer the lame and sick, Is it not evil? Offer it then to your governor! Would he be pleased with you? Would he accept you favorably?” Says the LORD of hosts. 9 “But now entreat God’s favor, That He may be gracious to us. While this is being done by your hands, Will He accept you favorably?” Says the LORD of hosts. 10 “Who is there even among you who would shut the doors, So that you would not kindle fire on My altar in vain? I have no pleasure in you,” Says the LORD of hosts, “Nor will I accept an offering from your hands. 11 For from the rising of the sun, even to its going down, My name shall be great among the Gentiles..#Malachi1:1-14#newchapte#PraisetheLord#WordofGod#wordoftheday#versesoftheday#bibleverses#biblestudy#qoutesoftheday#prayernetwork#beblessedShalom#anzanamiBwanaYesu#biblia#NenolaMungu#Nenolaleo#Zekaria#barikiwa🙏 #eastafrica#tanzania🇹🇿 #asubuhinjema#chai#Coventry🇬🇧#lifestyleblogger#vlogger #mswahili🇹🇿#rachelsiwa🙏🏽❤️☕️ https://www.instagram.com/p/CDtC8-Rn9HU/?igshid=oyltj5ljzna6
The first words of this chapter seem an answer to the scoffers of those days. Here is a prophecy of the appearing of John the Baptist. He is Christ's harbinger. He shall prepare the way before him, by calling men to repentance. The Messiah had been long called, “He that should come,” and now shortly he will come. He is the Messenger of the covenant. Those who seek Jesus, shall find pleasure in him, often when not looked for. The Lord Jesus, prepares the sinner's heart to be his temple, by the ministry of his word and the convictions of his Spirit, and he enters it as the Messenger of peace and consolation. No hypocrite or formalist can endure his doctrine, or stand before his tribunal. Christ came to distinguish men, to separate between the precious and the vile. He shall sit as a Refiner. Christ, by his gospel, shall purify and reform his church, and by his Spirit working with it, shall regenerate and cleanse souls. He will take away the dross found in them. He will separate their corruptions, which render their faculties worthless and useless. --Matthew Henry Note: Thank you, God, for saving me!
