hey hanna what's your favorite memory with Hatchi? if you don't feel like answering came you show us how the tree's doing instead?

“You want to hear about Hachi? I’ll gladly share something about him,” Hana’s voice raises in pitch slightly at the thought of happy memories. 

“Hachi was always so busy and focused on his work as a Doctor that he would always forget important dates. Even what day of the week it was sometimes,” Hana laughs a bit. “So he would randomly give me gifts just in case my birthday or our anniversary or any other holiday happened to be that day. He never got it quite right, but it made me so happy how hard he tried~” 

“And of course there was the birth of our children, Ishi and Ki. I will always cherish those memories.” 

“No matter how far away they seem sometimes…”

*drops bag of tortillas (monster food version obviously) NEXT TO (not gonna crush them with food for once) bruan* here you guys go I figured that this stuff wouldn't be made very often so yall might not have had any before so here you go (sorry if this is a long message by the way)

An assortment of tortillas in many forms (plain, corn, chips, etc.) pop up next to the Brownies. 

Bow inspects a bag of chips, “Oh you’re right, I haven’t seen this kind of food before.”

“I don’t know, they look familiar to me,” Braun observes, “Just the bags are new I think.”

“Guess we should try it and see,” Bow tries to open one of the bags. Braun helps her undo one of the knots on the bag to open it. 

Braun tastes a piece of the food, “Yep, definitely had this before.”

“Yeah, that’s right, the Cuco family would make this stuff all the time!”

The Brownies continue to try out the other kinds of tortilla and the others follow suit when they notice the new pile of food in the void.

As long as you two are big and have so much extra magic why don't you try to outfit yourself with a new wepeon while it lasts? It wont last long once you're back to normal probably but it might be neat to be able to make your own wepeon instead of having to scavenge

Braun furrows his brows, trying to think of how he got the magic to work last time. He mumbles something under his breath when he can’t seem to get it. 

“You forgot already? It hasn’t been that long,” Bow teases him a bit. 

“I didn’t forget!” Braun retaliates, “I just need practice!” Braun pauses a moment, “Do you remember?” Braun tries to maintain a mocking tone to hide the fact that he actually wants to hear the answer. 

Bow chuckles a bit through her nose, seeing right through him. “I believe that if we think about needing a weapon, one should appear. Magic is very good at providing for the user's needs I’m told.” 

After a bit more teasing back and forth the two manage to conjure up something. 

Braun manages to make a rapier and Bow a, well, bow.

“This is awesome! How strong is it?” Braun is very excited about having a sword again. 

Bow mocks drawing her bow a couple times, “Hmm There isn’t anything we can safely test it on.” She attempts to let the arrow fly harmlessly into the void. It continues without falling until it is out of sight. “Huh”

hey hanna so if monsters have been underground since before halloween does that make gerson the equivilant of a wise man around the underground?

“Yes, he is. Gerson is one of the only monsters still alive who fought in the war. Besides the king and queen, of course.”

“But, the poor Turtle is so old that he forgets a lot of things. Sometimes in the middle of a story, he will forget which story he’s telling and just start a different one.” ((I’m so so sorry about how long it took me to get back to this question. I don’t know where all of my time went ^^;; -Junjo))
