Suddenly the bushes around us begin to shudder. I start, tail whipping free of Baz’s hand and looping around his waist, tugging him to me (to safety). The buds swell and break open. Deep red petals shudder and stretch before slowing and settling.
We’re surrounded by roses.

YOU GUYS! You have no idea how excited am I for this chapter seeing the light!! is probably my favourite so far, and is filled with quirks, tenderness and fun. And of course, Malcolm trying.
