The following was just a debate. A theory that I and another friend had about the relationship between Howard Link and Malcolm.c. Rouvellier.
I'm not going to get into it but I will post the pictures and any relevent information that I found on it.
Come to your own conclusions but don't come for me.
(also I've covered some of the writing because I don't want to cause harm or hurt anyone. )
We always thought that it was weird that Malcolm gave him that cross......and these panels......
I know I wasn't the only one thinking wtf when I saw them.
Could it be more than just loyalty that binds Link to the commander?
Okay so i have to make a post about this. Howard link. When he as first introduced i admit that i did not like him, i didnt hate him i just didnt trust him. To be fair he was the lap dog of Lvellie and i do hate Lvellie. Normally something impactful has to happen for me to change my opinion of a character. I didnt even realize my opinion of Link changed until i was thinking about his actions in some recent chapters. I was surprised that somewhere along the way i went from disliking Link, to being neutral, and now i think he has grown on me. This it the only time a story line has been so smooth that i didnt notice myself changing my thoughts on a character.
Lavi: Is there no way to get rid of Lvellie?
Lenalee: Not without cause, Lavi.
Lavi: I have cause, it’s because I hate him.
Being a member of central agency, do you think that Link has ever seen or done something that he wished he hadn't.? Like, what if the commanders mustache is a fake and Link has to use his spells to attach them to Malcolm's face every morning before breakfast? This is very random. It totally isn't a dream I just had......
