For Canon Confusion: Oh boy, let me tell you about my Malcolm Reed kintype. I was a Malcolm from a Star Trek Swap around AU of some sort. Even though he's from the NX-01 Enterprise era normally, I instead served on the TNG Enterprise-D and DS9 (in Worf's role). And while I was joined by Trip Tucker (taking over as head of engineering), our fellow shipmates included people from all over the timeline. Captain Freeman, Kira, and Doctor Bashir were on the enterprise with us instead of Picard, Riker, and Crusher. Data was still there though!
The swapping around of characters just baffles me. Its easily my most confusing kin canon because it makes a jigsaw puzzle of the Star Trek timeline. Who was a part of what events? Did things go even remotely similarly? Who the hell knows because I sure don't have enough memories of it, I have to rely on my pendulum and random questions that strike me as relevant in the moment!
