Chapter 3

Harry was sitting alone in a different table from his friends, Oliver started making out with a girl while Alex were in deep conversation with another, and Matt was on the dance floor with Mina, dancing closely, intimately, he tried to look away but every time his eyes were drawn back on them "hey" he heard Alex voice and he jumped a little in his chair "Jesus..." Alex said when he saw Harry's reaction "sorry" Harry said and scratch the back of his neck "don't worry about it" Alex said "why aren't you sitting with us?" he continued while sitting next to Harry "it's okay, I don't want to interrupt" Harry said and played with the beer bottle with his hands "why don't you ask someone out? I'm sure a lot of girls would love to, you're pretty popular" Alex said with a smile, Harry appreciate it, the fact that Alex noticed that Harry was missing "it's really ok, I just don't want to hook up with anyone" Harry explain "why? do you have a girlfriend or something?" Alex asked and Harry just shook his head, then there was a silence in the table that made Harry feel uncomfortable, which is weird, in the whole place were so loud music but all he could focus on was Alex sitting next to him in a complete silence "you..." Harry started to say at the same time Alex open his mouth to talk too, they giggled at each other "you wanted to say something?" Harry asked and Alex nodded, shifting his body from side to side, looking a little uncomfortable "what is it?" Harry asked, not loving the idea of his friend struggling with what ever this is "can I ask you something?" Alec finally asked and Harry nodded "are... umm... are you gay?" Alex asked, looking down, not dares to meet Harry's eyes, which was good because they were wide open "w..what?" Harry stutter "I... I was wondering if you are gay... you turned down every single girl who asked you out... so I..." Alex stutter himself, Harry tried to decide if he should share his secret or not, how will Alex react? will he hate him? will he accept Harry as he is? "I... I'm sorry, you don't have to answer.. it was rude of me to ask that..." Alex said while Harry was deep in thoughts so he didn't notice that he didn't say a word apparently for a long time "umm... what if I am?" Harry asked, nervously "are you?" Alex said and finally got the courage to look at him "will it change anything?" Harry said, getting even more nervous "what do you mean?" Alex asked, confused "what ever you like, I don't care about it, you're my friend... I just asked because I was feeling that you have been dealing with a lot... so I tried to come to you, so you know you're not alone" Alex said, he reached out and took Harry's hand in his own, smiling sweetly, Harry just stared at him, still struggling to decide but seeing Alex being so cute and trying to help him soften his heart "I... yes, I am" Harry admitted, the second he said that he felt a huge rock lifting off his chest "wow.. it's weird to say that out loud..." Harry said, trying to fight the smile but couldn't help it, he looked at Alex who stood up 'wait... is he leaving?" Harry thought, he watched him getting closer and without saying a word Alex pulled him into a close hug "I'm so proud of you... I guess it was so hard on you... I'm so sorry I didn't notice sooner" Alex said into the hug, Harry just embrace him, feeling ashamed of his thoughts before, he actually thought Alex would go but instead he's being such an amazing friend "thank you, thank you for being my friend" Harry said and Alex backed up and sat down back on the chair "of course, we're going to be always together" Alex said and smiled, Harry smiled but at the same time his eyes drifted away, founding Matt again, still dancing closely with Mina, even making out now "I'm sure it's hard..." Alex suddenly said and Harry looked back at him "what is?" Harry asked, not sure if he heard him right "being in love with someone you can't never have..." Alex said and looked at him.

Chapter 2

After the classes ended Harry walked back to the dorms with Matt "do you want to meet up tomorrow to do the project?" Matt asked while he smiled to a girl who waved at him in the hall "sure, do you want to study in my room?" Harry said, trying to hide his jealousy and Matt nodded right when they arrived at Harry's room "I will see you in an hour at the bar?" Matt said while Harry opened the door "sure" Harry smiled and Matt gave him a little pat on his shoulder and walked away, Harry watched him a little before he entered his room and closed the door, he rested his forehead on the cold wall 'what am I doing' Harry thought, he was trying so hard not to love this man, but he couldn't even get a pat from him without getting excited, he threw his bag on the desk, took off his clothes as he walked to the bathroom and entered the shower, just stood there, with the water flowing.

After he finished he went out and sat on the bed only with a towel on his waist, he looked for something on his phone when he heard a knock on the door "Harry? can I come in?" he heard Matt from the other side "yeah" Harry shouted but immediately regretted that because Matt opened the door and faced him almost completely naked, only with the towel "hi" Matt said casually and closed the door behind him, Harry froze, he got all red and flushed, Matt noticed as he sat on the bed next to him "are you okay? You face is all red" Matt said and stared at him "I..I'm fine... I just took a shower so..." Harry mumbled, feeling the heat spreading on his chest from being so close to Matt wearing practically nothing "oh... ok" Matt said and smiled, Harry felt both lucky for Matt not being smart enough to notice his feelings, and on the other side it hurt like hell that Matt didn't even paid attention to him, like casually seating next to him "didn't... umm... shouldn't we meet at the bar?" Harry said, still trying to control himself "yeah, but I was bored so I came here so we can go together" Matt said and poke his finger into Harry's waist "wow, you really have been working out..." Matt said with surprise and admire Harry's body, which made him even more flushed "stop it" Harry said getting up from the bed "no seriously, wow" Matt said with a admiration face, Harry looked down, all shy, he never handled compliments well, but now, when they are coming from Matt it's even more difficult "ok... thanks... umm... I will go dress up" Harry said and grabbed the clothes from the desk and rushed to the shower, ignoring Matt while he was trying to say something, he leaned back on the door 'why is he being so cute? why? I need to control myself when I'm around him...' Harry thought, trying to fix his breath and to calm his heart and dressed up quickly so they can meet the guys.

When Harry finished he walked outside the bathroom, seeing Matt laying on his bed playing with his phone "yay you're ready" Matt said exited and jumped off the bed, Harry smiled softly, Matt is always so happy to see him, he really is a wonderful friend, and Harry should learn to accept that this is all they are going to be, best friends "ready to go?" Harry asked while he took his phone and his wallet "yeah, Oliver just texted that they are already there, so we better hurry" Matt said and shiver, Harry giggled, Oliver hated it when people are late, they all have been teasing him around about it in the beginning of their friendship, but now they are used to it and just do everything to make each other comfortable.

They took Harry's car, the drive was less than fifteen minutes but Harry was so happy all the way, he and Matt played deafening music and screamed the lyrics together, it was so fun "why just driving with music is considered as hanging out?" Matt said pouting as they went out of the car "I will take you to a drive and music anytime you want" Harry said and giggle, Matt put his hand on his chest in a touched pose "that's why you're my best friend!" Matt said emotional and Harry laughed, trying to hide how much this words hurts him.

When they entered the bar they walked right to their usual table, where Oliver and Alex were already seated "finally" Oliver said like expected "sorry" Harry and Matt said together.

The night went well, they laughed and shared stories from their day, and all of them shared their fears from the up coming exams in a week, apparently if Oliver will not pass he will have to take summer studies and Harry promised him that they will all study together and then they will all pass, Oliver smiled and clicked his glass with Harry's beer, at that moment a group of girls approached their table "hey, can we join you guys?" A blond tall girl asked and they all exchange glances, Alex and Matt nodded, Harry bite his tongue and nodded too, knowing where this ends, with Matt leaving with a girl, but he can't stop him, he owns him nothing "of course" Oliver said when they all agreed and the girls seated next to them "hi I'm Mina" a black haired girl who seated next to Matt said "hi, Matt" Matt said and smiled his charming smile, immediately flirting with her, making Harry's heart miss a bit, why do he has to watch this? it felt so unfair, the rest of the girls introduced themselves but Harry couldn't listen, his all mind was trying not to look at Matt flirting with Mina, when he felt a little poke in his waist "what?" he lashed out at Alex "she's talking to you..." Alex said surprised from Harry's behavior, Harry blinked and regretted acting like that, he looked at the girl who was seating next to him "hi.. umm sorry... I drifted away" Harry said with an apology look, he will apologize to Alex later, she giggled and rested her hand on Harry's thigh, Harry wanted to move away but he didn't want to hurt her "hi, I'm Alisa" she said, coming closer "i... I'm Harry" he mumbled and looked away, trying to find something else to concentrate on but his friends were deep in conversation with the other girls "don't be scared, I won't bite" she said and Harry looked at her "I'm not scared, what gives you that's impression?" Harry said with a little side smile "you look around, and umm..." she said and blushed "what?" Harry giggled, thinking she's quite cute, not as a girlfriend but as a friend maybe "you know... you got a name for yourself at the university..." she said and Harry felt intrigued "really? About what?" Harry said sweetly "that you turn down every girl that ask you out... you are like a mystery" Alisa said and looked at him, all blushed, Harry smiled, she's really adorable, too bad she's right "that's correct" Harry said and took her hand off his tight gently, see the disappointment on her face "can I ask why?" she tried, Harry's eyes went to look at Matt, who was in a make out session with Mina "I think I will leave it a mystery" Harry said and got his eyes back at Alisa, who nodded and got up from the table "I'm sorry..." Harry said, trying to comfort her "it's ok" she said smiling and walked away.

Chapter 1

Harry tried to turn off that awful sound who disturb his sleep, he wiggled with his hand in the dark and finally find his phone and turned off the alarm, he covered his face with the pillow, not wanting to wake up, but eventually getting enough strength to get up and get into the shower.

Harry is in his first year of college, he's in the second semester and things are going good for him, he managed to go to the same college with his three best friends, they all live next to each other in the dorms, his best friend, Matt, is in the same major as his, in art, while the other two were in engineering class, so Harry and Matt did almost everything together, at that moment Harry wondered if Matt is up yet.

Matt: raise and shine, are you coming to cafeteria? Oliver and Alex are already here

'Speaking of the devil...' Harry thought and texted back that he's on his way.

Oliver and Alex are Harry's best friends, together with Matt they are inseparable, they are all together since the first day of high school, so Harry feel really good being surrounded with them.

Harry finished getting dressed, he grabbed his bag and walked out of his room heading towards the cafeteria, when he entered inside he heard a high voice calling him "Harry! Here!" Matt screamed and Harry rolled his eyes and walked to the table "god, you didn't have to scream in the morning, the place is empty of course I saw you!" Harry said and sat down with a sigh "the day just started, how you are already tired?" Matt said and gave him a nudge, earning another eye roll from Harry "if you girls finished flirting..." Oliver said shutting them up "what do you want to do tonight?" he continued, Oliver is a dark hair boy, with dark grey eyes, he is tall and very good looking, he is very popular around the girls but he never established long relationship with any of them, a classic player guy "do you want to go for a drink?" Alex suggest, Alex is the total opposite from Oliver, he is blonde with dark blue eyes, his body is really muscle and the girls were running after him no matter where he went, but like Oliver he was a one night stand kind of guy "sure, I need to get this party vibes out of me before the exams start next week" Matt agree to their plans and Harry just nodded, agreeing to what ever they want, he didn't really care because he hated it when they went to drink together, every time he had to see Matt leaving with a different girl, why did he care? because Harry was in love with Matt since the very first day they met, but Matt is straight and clearly not interested in Harry romantically, but it's not his fault, Harry is the one who needs to move on, he tried to date several girls but none of them made him happy, so he stopped dating, he was getting a lot of invitations from girls of the school, but he turned them down every time, making him the wanted bachelor of the group, but nobody knew that he was a friends with benefits relationship with an older student, it was only sex and nothing more, nothing can make him forget Matt, no matter how hard he tried "so we will meet after classes?" Matt summarize the conversation and they all agreed.

On their way to class Matt walked with Harry "are you ok?" he suddenly asked "yeah of course" Harry said immediately as they entered the class and sat down on their seats "I'm just feeling that you're a little bitter... you will tell me if something is wrong right?" Matt asked, he looked concerned, Harry hated the feeling he made him feel, Matt was giving him the feeling like he's the only one he sees, the only one he cares about, how can he get over him like that? "of course, you're my best friend" Harry said with a smile "don't forget that" Matt said and smiled back, at that moment the class started and the focus was on that.

The class ended with an assignment before the exams week "I want you to make a paper about the modern and post art, you can choose to do it with two or three partners, but no more" the teacher explained "you have 5 days, good luck" the teacher said and seated down to write the couples names that the class chose "hey, wanna do it together?" Matt whispered and Harry nodded, trying not to show how excited he was to work with him "great, I will tell her" Matt said with a smile and went to the teacher to write them down as partners, Harry just watched him, wondering how someone smart and talented like Matt can be so blind to Harry's love and real feelings.

Asmodeus Headcanon

Okay, in Chain of Gold, we find out that Asmodeus is the Prince of lust and the general of Hell’s army. We can see that reflected in Magnus as he’s had a lot of relationships and sex throughout the years, and through his love for flirting and innuendos. We can see him being the warlock representative on the Council and him being a High Warlock as representative of Asmodeus’s powers as the general. I was thinking, what if he was also secretly the Prince of glitter? It would explain Magnus’s obsession with it. Also, TLH says he worked a lot with Henry, who introduced him to glitter in the first place. What if Asmodeus made him work with Henry (without Magnus knowing) so that he could be introduced to glitter. It would explain so much in the series. Feel free to add to this!

finally watched the episode “Malec” of Shadowhunters. Now I know what it’s all about. I mean, I shipped them before, but that first kiss ... it was exciting, touching, sexy, it was everything and just ... magical. Also the song was perfect! I am so, so happy for them! Also, how Magnus asked Alec for the first date was just adorable.
