Today's headcanons is long af because I'm currently reading The Infernal Devices and oof my imagination is flowing.
Alec/Jace meeting Jem/Will is honestly the best thing that could happen. (or the worst lol)
- It's pretty obvious but Alec would instantly connect with Jem, the latter would pretty much consider him as a younger brother and I think that's beautiful.
- No, Will and Jace will not like each other, I mean two egotistical characters together?? Lmao let me laugh.
- Now here's a civilized conversation between Alec and Jem :
Alec, ranting about himself, "and so I don't know what to do, I love Magnus with all of my heart, but the idea of me dying and letting him go is just absurd."
Jem, "yeah, I understand, but you have to know that is his nature, that is what should and would happen, the most important thing right now is to enjoy the time you actually have together rather than wasting it on overthinking about the future."
Alec looked at him with such admiration and loving eyes.
Alec," thank you Jem, really, I thought I was going insane. "
Jem, "It's fine, and you're really young, it's normal to feel confused and misunderstood."
Alec, for a second looked away, only to witness the catastrophy that is Will and Jace having a heated verbal fight about "who's better at bringing trauma to each other without feeling hurt"
Alec, "Sometimes I wonder how can you bear Will."
Jem, "Oh well, I sometimes think that I could strangle him, but he's my parabatai and I love him like he was a part of me."
Alec, "Well that's dramatic. Lol"
Jem, "Don't you love Jace?"
Alec, "No, absolutely not."
An awkward silence began.
Alec, "I mean I would literally die for him, I just hate him."
Jem then slowly smiled, "Parabatais these days have so much pride, yet the feelings never change."
They then both smiled, while looking looking at their dumb best friends they call parabatais fight each other with a tea pot and a lamp.
