Alec - Anything action (+secretly romcoms and anything YA, which he openly admits to Magnus but no one else)

Magnus - Romcoms but also has an appreciation for all genre

Jace - Action (romcoms when Clary forces him, and he pretends he doesn’t watch them but does)

Clary - Romcoms & action where there’s a MFC

Emma - See Clary because my girls are vibing🫶

Julian - My romcom king, not scared of his own emotions

Dru - Obvs horror and thrillers

Ty - Crime related (but would rather a docuseries on real life crimes)

Kit - Whatever Ty is watching

Matthew - Period dramas / Anything dramatic full stop / Film adaptations of classic books (but also our man will watch anything because baby Angel just likes to be with people and consume art of any kind)

James - Anything (As long as he’s watching with Cordelia or The Merry Thieves)

My issues with chain of thorns aside, Thomas' come out was so fucking funny bc of how in character all the interactions were
