also can we just discuss how well thought out and great the scene was where nadia caught omar and malick... like the totally off-handed moment where samuel asked omar to get rid of the bag and we thought nothing of it... and the fact that it was covered in paint making complete sense because rebe’s a smart bitch trying catch samu out... and then the blackout party meaning the lights went out... and the paint showing up on them... and nadia.... and just...... yes

My thoughts on Elite season 3 and Guznadia

I loved a lot of things, things like: 

1. Nadia’s and Lu’s storyline (even though i would have LOVE Lu to apologize to Nadia)

2. Rebeka! I just love her (If we have more seasons i need her to find love)

3. Everyone being there for Rebe when she was going to be expelled

4. Samuel’s and Guzman’s friendship

5. Guzman and Polo being there for Ander

6. Polo’s ending (How he was going to finally do the right thing)

7. Omar and his parents finally being amicable 

8. Ander being the voice of reason for his friends (His philosophy of living the present and not the future)

9. Ander and Nadia finally talking (Nadia saying he is her family)

10. Lu’s and Nadia’s speech ( how they acknowledge their friends at graduation and Nadia’s finally making clear she was on their side, even though that could jeopardize her future)

11. Nadia talking to her parents about NYC and that she was going even if she wasn't with Malick 

12. Guzman being completely and utterly in love with Nadia 

13. Guzman doing everything in his power to help Nadia with her goals 

14. Without a doubt this season my favorite character was Guzman, his character growth was lovely and i also love how he was so upfront about his feelings for Nadia (like always).

And things I definitely didn't love:

1. Valerio (Valerio was one of may favorite characters of season 2, this season he was just meh for me. I didn’t care about his storyline) 

2. Cayetana (this didn't surprise me, i didn't love her character on season 2 and I didn't love her on season 3)

3. Valerio not apologizing to Guzman and especially Nadia 

4. Valerio’s and Nadia’s friendship (I love their friendship last season, I would have love a continuation on their storyline) 

5. Omar being careless (cheating on his sick boyfriend with his sister boyfriend... WTF) 

6. Carla ( her storyline was boring, but i did feel sorry for her)

7. Yeray and Malick (I didn't like them, not one tiny bit.)

8. Samuel (I have never love him, and i don't know why. I just enjoy his interactions with Rebe and Guzman.)

On another note, let’s talk about Guznadia 

okay... I had a lot of things to do for my college courses so I wasn't able to started Élite until last night. I was excited because I was so convince that my OTP will FINALLY be together but now that I finished season 3 I really don’t know what to think. Of course I would have love more interactions between Nadia and Guzman but i’m not that mad about it, I’m just sad about the ending. 

It was a realistic ending and I love how Guzman didn't make Nadia feel bad for leaving him behind and chasing her dreams. But if this is the ending for them, if this is the last time we are going to see Guzman and Nadia, I'm completely disappointed, I would have love to see a more solid ending for them. Not an open ending.

On the other hand, if this is not the end of their story I still have hope. Hope that this is just one more obstacle in their relationship and that distance will only contribute to the epic love story of these two. If we have one more season I would love to see how Nadia and Guzman overcome their last obstacle, physical distance. Because they deserve it, they finally deserve to be happy and together. Because in my opinion, despite the fact that it all started as a stupid bet, this love story has proven to be the most solid and healthy of the entire series. They went from indifference, to friendship and then love. And even though both of them thought at the time that there was no possibility that they could be together, that did not stop them from demonstrating how much they meant to each other. How beautiful it was to see Nadia doing everything so that Guzman did not self-harm and how beautiful it was to see Guzman doing everything to help Nadia achieve her dreams. Their story has been a beautiful slow burn,  they took their time to get to know each other. They explored their friendship first and then explored the inevitable desire they had for each other. And that’s why I am not angry that their journey to their endgame is long because of all the couples in the series they have shown the best chance of success for the long haul. 

So, let’s hope for another season, one were Guzman can finally be happy, one were Nadia isn't afraid and hesitant to be officially with Guzman, one were we can see Nadia proudly telling her parents about her and Guzman, one were they are chasing their dreams together in NYC.

Elite Season 3 Theories

“Next time you faint, I hope you smash your head open and bleed to death.” Guzman to Ander in season 2.

It was the first thing I thought of when I saw this picture, seeing the distraught and devastated look on Guzman’s face along with the blood on his hands. Plus the looks of absolute shock around him.

I don’t want it to happen AT ALL... but I feel Ander may get seriously hurt in a fight with Polo. The last two seasons have been building up unresolved tension between the former three friends and I believe the picture is the boiling point.

People who are missing from the photo: Polo, Ander, Omar, Nadia, Lu, Valerio, and the new guys= Yeray and Malick.

Now considering Valerio is kissing Lu’s forehead and there’s police tape behind them, makes me think this scene is after the picture above. But now that I think about it, it makes me concerned about Omar😭 because Lu is good friends with him. Please protect Omar and Ander at all costs!

The picture of the sheet covering her face is interesting. My first thought was is she going to die? It’s not out of the realm of possibility but I’m not too sure. So I wonder if it means they’re related at all??? (For selfish reasons - I hope they’re not because they have really good chemistry)

Malick -Nadia- Guzman... Omar???? When I saw the picture of Omar, Nadia, and Malick, the first thing I thought is this going to be a love triangle between those three? Does Omar know him? Is Omar being protective? Who knows? Definitely interesting stuff here.

I’m rooting for Rebeka and Samuel along with Rebeka getting to do more this season. I didn’t mind Samuel and Carla though. I’m interested in seeing Carla and Yeray.

Lastly, I found the placement of these two pictures interesting. Álvaro Rico said this in an interview “And Ander and Polo I think also will have many things to clear up, and if they love eachother or do not, or hate eachother, I don't know. But it's very beautiful, what's going on with Ander.” I feel really bad for Ander and this predicament he’s in.

I like malick. I need more guznadia and guznadia should be endgame but malick is a nice boy and I think that he and Nadia can have an amazing and beautiful friendship. Also, that boy is gay right? 100% sure.

So Elite s3 gave one couple a tarnished HEA, another pairing ILUs plus a hopeful reunion down the road ending, and the last a bittersweet moving away and moving on ending.

Elite showrunners to shippers:

IMO, the showrunners were going for personal / individual growth character arcs this season over real love + romance but they stumbled on some of them. Hard. I have some additional thoughts I will likely post down the line, esp on the new characters for S3.
