“Okay... Wasn’t expecting that.” He groaned as he tried to move back up. Finn wasn’t an unusually ungraceful person but as he hadn’t been getting much sleep these days, his body decided it was time for some payback apparently. He wasn’t watching where he was going and he hit his head on a low pipe under construction and landed on his back. To say he was embarrassed was a bit of an understatement.

THERE WAS NO DENYING THAT THIS WAS A STRANGE PLACE, that it wasn’t usual to be lured to a town by the promise of a name unknown to you and power you did not understand, and yet yennefer found that the oddest thing was the FEELINGS she had since arriving. it was as if her gut instinct was in overdrive. standing in the entrance hall to the gym, yen found the perfect example of one of those moments when a young woman caught her eye. she was certain she had never seen her before but there was something different about her, as if an aura radiated and tempted to draw yen closer, and yet she appeared to be ENTIRELY normal.
to cease her staring, yen turned to look upon a board which listed classes of various types and attempted to focus her attention on that instead but a moment later her attempt at a distraction was in VAIN. “ there is so much choice, - ” she spoke up in the direction of the young woman, her violet gaze no longer trying to look away from her as her lips turned to offer a friendly smile. “ i’m new here and a bit lost, could you recommend one? ”
