      After the whole ordeal with the traitorous Lucretia DeCoy, and once Nosedive had found something besides competing to occupy himself, Mallory's invitation to explore the Anaheim's mall seemed more and more appealing the longer Duke considered it. Without the youngest team member to accompany him, the gray drake returned to his quarters, then changed from his mission uniform and groomed his feathers.

      Borrowing one of the Duckcycles, the former thief made his way to the string of stores, and parked behind a familiar comic shop rather than the main parking lot so the vehicle was not as obvious and easy to notice by curious tourists or adoring fans. The point of the trip was to relax, step away from missions and the Pond for a while, not instantly draw attention to the two hockey playing ducks now visiting.

      Granted, he had no idea where Mallory had gone off to due to the number of stores, even if not all of them where of interest. However, considering she was wearing a red dress, he was in his red-violet high collared coat, and they were the only ducks from Puckworld here, he doubted it would be hard for one of them to notice the other if he simply made a loop around the mall like any normal, window shopping spree.
