I think they're talking about how you can't re-download games after a certain point. Ex. I downloaded a couple games last may and got a different computer in july and couldn't download them again. It's not a great policy for people who don't have disc drives and can't buy the physical copies.

you could add nancy drew: sea of darkness to your canon lesbian characters list; their newest game has a canon lesbian character (named dagny silva) :D you can read a text message on her phone that shows she was married to a woman, and her relationship is discussed throughout the game. it's easy to miss the message and it's a minor mention, but it could still be added! :D (you could also add the nancy drew games to the non-violent games list!)

Did you get an answer to your q about what Her did this time? (Saw it browsing the tag) there was a review posted on glassdoor saying Her used to be great but is now dysfunctional and that everyone was laid off or quit, and they said they think the damage is irreversible. Also someone who claimed to know an investor at Her, commented on an article abt the layoffs that Her laid off everyone but management and is shutting down. Who knows if it's true but doesn't look good for them :(

And jfc...I hope that’s not true. But it also wouldn’t surprise me from everything we know for a fact from them. And that’s a damn shame.

i’m pretty sure you can run old games on newer laptops :) you just have to install them a little differently, there are tips on the boards i think

no i know how to do it, my old laptop is only running on windows 7 it's not like old old. i even have DAN and CRE and the original 5 running. but this one is windows 8 (or 8.1 now i guess) and it's really weird with running certain programs. plus they're already installed on there, so it just makes sense to play on that one.

the main thing is that no matter what, taking screencaps to liveblog/make unfunny jokes is more of a hassle because i have to play fullscreen
