this dumbass bird puzzle

every time i play this game i’m always too lazy to figure out the bird puzzle, but this time i did it, binch!

if you’ve played this game before, i’m sure you know how to solve the puzzle, but if you’re like me, you get lazy and look up the answer. well, 

this puzzle can be solved with 2 key pieces of information:

1. the bird mural at the end of tunnel 2

2. a page from the journal, found in the upper room

1. Held in the paws (refers to the bird in the cat’s paws in the mural)

2. Roosting in the reeds (refers to the red bird in the reeds on the top left)

3. Soaring on colored wings (refers to the flying bird on the top right)

4. Perched high on the boat (refers to the bird all the way on the right, on the boat)

5. Caught in the jaws (refers to the bird the cat has in its mouth)

6. Flying above the reeds (refers to the other flying bird)

7. Standing in the boat (refers to the other bird in the boat) - the journal page has a helpful drawing of this one

8. Wading in the water (refers to the blue bird on the bottom left)

it can be difficult to translate these drawings to the ones in the cat tomb, but if you focus on the details (wings, beaks, overall shape of the bird), it’s not so bad

Makes Nancy go through this entire scavenger hunt to solve the mystery when she could have just done it herself because she knew everything that was going on

Takes the risk of Andy Jason getting away with his plot by making Nancy solve the mystery when she could have busted him herself because she knew everything that was going on

Only cares about catching the criminals because she feels personally responsible for their deeds, not because what they are doing is wrong

Makes Jenna buy all her groceries for her even though she’s perfectly capable of doing it herself and is RICH
